In the fall of 2022, Dr. Renata Moon was invited to testify at a United States Senate hearing held by Senator Ron Johnson. She paid her own airfare and her own hotel and went as a private citizen. She had never ordered the COVID shot for a patient and was not recommending it to anyone.
What she brought with her was a package insert she had pulled from a box of mRNA product in the clinic where she worked. It was a large sheet of paper, and it read intentionally blank, on both sides. She held it up and asked how anyone could know for certain what was in the bottle when the insert carried nothing at all. She told the hearing that doctors were being censored and silenced, that she was seeing a sharp increase in myocarditis in her own community, and she said plainly that this was her anecdotal testimony. Following Senate guidelines, she issued a written press release stating her words were her own and that she represented no other entity.
Her medical school opened an investigation. In June 2023 it declined to renew her faculty contract. About a week and a half after she was no longer a professor, the school reported her Senate testimony to her state medical board and asked it to investigate her license. She says she never heard the results of the investigation.
