[00:00:00] The direction of the future of our country comes down to the results of today's elections. Have you voted? If not, go vote. I'm Jenny Beth Martin and this is The Jenny Beth Show. Welcome to The Jenny Beth Show.

[00:00:28] Tonight we'll know the direction of the future of our country that our fellow Americans have selected. And right now you still have a chance to shape that direction. If you haven't voted, go vote and vote Republican up and down the ticket. Vote for common sense,

[00:00:44] conservative candidates who are going to protect our Constitution, protect our constitutional way of life, protect the border and make sure that they continue to grow the economy and continue to reduce crime. These are all reasons we need to make sure that common sense conservatives are getting elected. If you have voted, there are still a little, there are a few things you can do right now and the remaining hours to make sure you're going to vote.

[00:01:14] Make sure that you've done everything you can to help get out the vote. And the most important thing that you can do is reach out to your friends and family and urge them to vote. If they have not voted, urge them to vote. Offer to take them to the polls. Make sure that they go and vote. It is the most important thing that you can do. If you want to know which ones haven't voted who are in your contacts, you can use our app by going to friendshelpfriendsvote.com.

[00:01:47] Friendshelpfriendsvote.com. And then you can match up your contacts to the people who haven't voted as of this morning and remind them to vote, urge them to vote and tell them how important it is. And then tonight we will see how the elections come in. And once we know how they come in, we'll figure out what we're going to be doing next. There are a few things that we know we'll be working on no matter what.

[00:02:12] But one of the most important things is that we have seen from this election cycle that we have a lot of work to do to teach Americans that democratic socialism is actually Marxism. And Marxism, socialism, it fails everywhere it's ever been tried in the world. And we're going to have to educate people about this and continue to remind them about it.

[00:02:35] But right now we have the opportunity to stop that tide that is moving in on the democratic side with that socialist Marxist mentality. So make sure that you go and vote. And remember, what we've seen from the democratic socialists of America is that they want to abolish our constitution.

[00:02:55] They want to get rid of the United States Senate. That means we will not have a bicameral legislative body in this country any longer if they were to succeed with that. We would have one single chamber and that one single chamber. They want that chamber to select the president, which would turn into more of a prime minister type position rather than an executive branch that is independent of the legislative branch.

[00:03:22] They also want to expand and pack the Supreme Court. So then we would not have an independent judiciary branch either. That means we would be destroying our three branches of government that provide checks and balances on one another. They do not want ICE. They do not want to have secure borders. They want to grant amnesty and citizenship to anyone who has entered the country, even if they've entered the country illegally.

[00:03:51] Not for people who have obeyed the law, but for people who have entered the country illegally. They want to abolish prisons and abolish police. And they want to start that by defunding prisons and defunding police. That means that rapists and murderers would be getting a jailbreak. That is craziness. Right now we have the lowest violent crime rate that we have had in over 120 years, since the year 1900.

[00:04:19] The lowest violent crime rate. And they would like to get rid of police and prisons. That would make that crime rate skyrocket once again, which we already saw under President Biden's administration. And then they would increase taxes. They were all opposed to the one big, beautiful bill. That bill ensured that we locked in the Trump tax cuts from the first administration.

[00:04:49] Had they gone their way, we would not have locked that in. Our tax rates would have skyrocketed. And right now the average taxpayer has $1,700 more to spend because they get to keep that money that they have earned because of those tax cuts. The economy is improving. The median income in this country is the highest it has ever been.

[00:05:14] The poverty level, the income at the poverty level is also the highest it has ever been. So even at the poverty level, people are moving up within that level. And we want people to be able to move out of poverty and into a better place for themselves. And that can only happen with economic freedom. The economy is improving. I understand that while I say it is improving, it isn't where we all want it to be. I get that.

[00:05:44] It is going to take time for the economy to grow enough to get us out of that inflationary period that caused prices to rise so much. We have to grow the economy and grow wages so that they balance out with where the new level is for prices.

[00:06:00] And then hopefully grow wages even more so things feel more affordable because we have the ability to earn more money, to get better jobs, to go ask for raises from our current employers if we like the jobs that we currently have so we can negotiate better terms for ourselves. All of that only happens if the economy is improving. It is on the right track right now, but it still has more work to do. I acknowledge that.

[00:06:27] What I know is that if we don't vote for common sense conservatives, all of the gains that we have had will be completely reversed and the rug will be just pulled right out from underneath us. These are reasons to go vote for common sense conservatives. So I urge you, if you haven't voted, go vote.

[00:06:48] If you have voted, get your friends and family and pick up the phone, call them, make sure that they all have voted, whether they live near you or in another state or just in another city or county within your own state. Just make sure they vote. It is so important. The future of our country will be determined tonight as these polls close. So go vote and we will see you again tomorrow on The Jenny Beth Show.
