ActBlue: 10 Plead the Fifth on Foreign Money & the Fed's First Hike Since 2023 | Duensing, McNeily

[00:00:00] Ten ActBlue employees sat down with House investigators this week. All ten of them pled the fifth. Now, it's worth noting before I continue that only Americans and lawful residents, meaning green card holders, can donate to American political campaigns. Since 2004, ActBlue, the fundraising operation for the Democratic Party, has raised $19 billion, with a B, dollars.

[00:00:24] And yesterday, three House committees released their third report on where that money from ActBlue comes. And this is out of ActBlue's files. Their fraud team looked at a donor and said that they would approve the money and they would grade it as a, quote, great except, unquote, because the donor has a few foreign IPs, but they are all consistently in the same place.

[00:00:50] Another example had a note next to it that said the donor sometimes has an IP address in Hong Kong, but none of the other signals raised an eyebrow. Hong Kong didn't raise an eyebrow? Foreign money in American elections has been illegal for decades. The media would remind you of that when it comes to the false claims they made against President Trump. But when it comes to evidence that the left is actually accepting foreign donations, dead silence.

[00:01:19] Welcome to the Jenny Beth Show. I'm Jenny Beth Martin. Welcome to the Jenny Beth Show. Re-House committees put out a joint report yesterday that says that ActBlue loosened its fraud rules

[00:01:47] regarding, or twice, during the 2024 campaign after ActBlue's internal reviews warned that it would let more fraud through. And the ActBlue board chairman told the New York Times that less than 1% of contributions from the 2024 cycle showed signs of foreign origin.

[00:02:05] In a House administration hearing in June, Congressman and Chairman Jim Jordan pointed out that less than 1% means $38 million. Let's watch that clip. Your board chairman said, ActBlue accepted up to 38 million contributions in 2024 that had the signs of foreign origin. How much fraud is too much fraud? On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer the question.

[00:02:36] Pursuant to my fifth amendment rights under the Constitution. ActBlue says this is an effort to silence them. And that's their story. They're sticking to it. Their CEO, co-founder, board chair and lawyers were all asked about it under oath.

[00:03:06] Every single one of them took the fifth. Now that's their constitutional right. And it's not a confession. It doesn't mean that they are guilty. We understand that. It's also not a defense. And the questions are still looming. In other news, the Federal Reserve raised interest rates for the first time since July 2023. All 12 members voted in favor. Not one dissent. President Trump recently, President Trump's Trump recently appointed the current chairman, Kevin Warsh.

[00:03:36] And Warsh has said that inflation is too high and it's been too high for too long. President Trump, however, says rates should be 1% or less. Washington spent and printed money and their solution is one that shows up in our mortgages and in our car loans. Increased interest rates. Skylar Dun zing joins me today. Founder and president of the United States Patriot Society, which teaches the founding principles to young Americans.

[00:04:04] Skylar, thanks so much for joining me today. Thank you very much, Jenny, for having me. And good to see you, Bobby. Been a while. Nice to see you. Yes, sir. It was fun at the convention. Yes, it was. And of course, joining me is Robert Bobby McNeely, who's our director of broadcasting and my co-host. All right. So let's get right into it. And I thank both of you for being on. So, Skylar, the first question is for you. And let me just make sure I've got that ready. All right.

[00:04:33] It is this. It's about the ActBlue report. The three House committees were the administration committee, the House Judiciary Committee and the oversight committee. And they've been engaged in release a joint investigation of ActBlue. They've been investigating for several months. When they released this report yesterday, it says that ActBlue's fraud prevention measures were unserious.

[00:04:58] During the investigation, 10 ActBlue employees, board members and attorneys all pled the fifth when they were questioned about these alleged foreign donations. What do you think this tells you about ActBlue's intentions? Well, you know what, Jenny? I think we're seeing a pattern within the Democrat Party here, at least within Democrat officials over the last few months. I mean, look at the Fauci hearing.

[00:05:21] We see a pattern of the Democrat Party saying that we're going to plead the Fifth Amendment and we're not going to answer questions, which you'd highlighted. This is really no defense at all. And I think we're seeing that the Democrat Party has been riddled with with fraud. And that includes their fundraising platform and as well as people that they put into positions of power. So it's ridiculous. And I think the viewer and the listener needs to be able to see that and recognize the pattern that the Democrat Party is riddled with fraud. They don't want to answer questions and they're not the party of transparency.

[00:05:50] That's really the consensus here. That's a very good point. They really are not at all the party of transparency. Robert, the report says that ActBlue told Congress that donors were using foreign addresses. The donors that were using foreign addresses had to provide a U.S. passport information. But investigators found that the system only apparently checked whether someone entered the right number of characters or digits, not whether there was a real passport number.

[00:06:20] How significant do you think this finding is? And what does it tell us about ActBlue's safeguards against illegal foreign contributions? Well, I'm happy to see that the left likes the Fifth Amendment. So at least that part of the Constitution, they tend to really take seriously in the Bill of Rights. But this is an egregious violation. Even those who are for McCain-Feingold clearly did not want any of this. And those even of us who disagreed with McCain-Feingold and was struck down by Citizens United,

[00:06:48] it's clearly not coming from the court as the left complains and screams about when it doesn't go in their direction of free speech, but rather will find any way to lie, cheat, and steal to obtain an advantage in an election. And of course, they need all the money in the world right now because they're still paying all of those bills back for Kamala Harris's failed campaign from just two years ago.

[00:07:13] Robert, two of the most sticking findings involved ActBlue's own fraud analyst. The report says that employees were repeatedly instructed to give benefit of the doubt to the donor and to look for reasons to accept contributions, even when the transactions raise red flags. Okay, I'm going to pause. I'm going to tell you the other one in just a second. But here's the thing. We were targeted by the IRS for our 501C4 and our 501C3.

[00:07:43] And our organization is hypersensitive about everything that we say and do, even all these years later, because we know we may be investigated. We never did anything wrong. We were targeted wrongly. The IRS was weaponized against us. But you better believe, anytime there's a candidate name mentioned, we're making sure we know whether it is someone in their official capacity.

[00:08:09] If it sounds like we are making, pardon me, an endorsement, then we're moving that over to our 527 Super PAC. And we're just super careful about all of this. We don't err on the side of, well, if it is just close enough, we'll give the benefit of the doubt to our free speech. And yet they were giving the benefit of the doubt to people who are donating money.

[00:08:37] It just really frustrates me that we're so hyper vigilant and cautious. And they were just like, yeah, we'll just try and we'll just give the benefit of the doubt and worry about it later. The investigators also say that ActBlue had identified at least 22 significant fraud campaigns on its platform, including several of the several with foreign connections. Yet ActBlue loosened some of its fraud prevention rules in 2024.

[00:09:05] So, Robert, why would a political fundraising platform adopt this approach and how vulnerable could it make our campaign finance system to fraud and foreign money? Well, Don Jr. said it best with his book, Liberal Privilege Run Amok, because these people clearly need money. As I mentioned earlier, they are out of it. It's literally been an awfully ran campaigns dating back the last couple of years. So that's just my first inclination as to why they would go this route.

[00:09:35] Also, they're extraordinarily unpopular. But to your point, Jenny Beth, I can remember being at Turning Point USA before there was the 501 C4 we know as Turning Point Action now, because Turning Point USA, a 501 C3, when our dear friend, the late Charlie Kirk would go up on stage. He'd say, this is Charlie Kirk speaking, not Turning Point USA. We dot the I's. We cross the T's. We follow the letter of the law. And Paul Manafort went to jail over all of this.

[00:10:03] And that's outrageous in and of itself. Then on top of that, Roger Stone to, of course, Dr. Navarro and Steve Bannon, all for giving their free speech and their involvement in the political process. It's outrageous. And I want people to go to jail as a result of this. They have to. Exactly right. Yeah, it would be very good if they did. It's just it's appalling that they're they're so blatantly.

[00:10:31] I don't want to say they're blatantly breaking the law because we don't we don't know for certain. And there is a court of law involved in doing that, but they certainly are are allowing themselves to be open to accusations. And they are not doing what what we have to do to make sure that the donations are legitimate. They should be checking that a little bit more. And it'd be one thing if it was a campaign or an organization that maybe accepted like one hundred thousand dollars.

[00:10:59] One hundred thousand is still a lot of money, but one hundred thousand dollars or even fifty thousand dollars. You want to make sure you get that right. It's very expensive for attorneys and in accountants to review everything. So that takes a massive chunk out of that smaller amount of money.

[00:11:17] But we're talking about nineteen billion dollars with a B and they had the money to pay good attorneys and good accountants to make sure they were doing everything properly. They should have been they should have just been watching their eyes and tease a lot closer than they were. Skylar, you teach young Americans the founding principles. Article one, section four hands Congress the power to write the rules for federal elections.

[00:11:46] What, if anything, do you think Congress should do about this situation to prevent funding from foreign donations from influencing American elections? Well, I think right now a lot so much of it comes down to congressional oversight, really to follow up Robert's recent point is I think this is really just selective positioning of the application of law and of justice. This is this two tiered system of justice that we've been living in under the Biden administration, the Biden Harris regime to really call it accurately.

[00:12:15] So I think Congress needs to continue to reel this back in and say, no, we're going to mandate accountability, which is our rightful duty and our rightful power to make sure that the law is being applied equally, regardless of whether or not you're a Republican or a Democrat, conservative or liberal or whatever kind of ideology that you would have. Because we've seen it. We saw the weaponization of the Justice Department against President Trump when he was the sitting president and then after the fact. And we've we've seen it with the protesting school board parents as well.

[00:12:43] So there's just a total lack of accountability on the left. And it really begs the question to say, who may be along the way? Just a suggestion here or a question. Who would have maybe been being paid off that maybe was no longer being paid off? So, you know, that would have been to say they weren't to investigate the situation. But now all of a sudden there's an interest in investigating the situation with Act Blue's fundraising. So I think it just comes down to congressional oversight to really do the digging and make sure that the law is being applied equally and accurately.

[00:13:13] Those are really good points. And you're right. The oversight is the most important thing. And then the law has to be to be applied. And some of that will shift over to the Department of Justice. All right. Now, I want you both to react to this. And I'm going to start with Robert and then Skylar, you can react as well. Act Blue says this is an effort to silence organizations that Republicans think threaten their agenda. So what is your reaction to that? It's always that double standard.

[00:13:39] It's very funny how it's all of a sudden a threat to shut down their freedom of speech when they are exploiting the system. We want a fair and even playing field. We want the idea and dialogue of debate to happen once again in this country. We want people to pick up the mic. Their ideas are bad. It's common sense versus crazy this election. And if you're as impassioned as we are here at Tea Party Patriots Action, I'm sure the viewers are. Get out and vote.

[00:14:09] Become a poll worker, a poll watcher, and get involved and call out their hypocrisy. The best way to do that is to vote. All right. And Skylar, what do you say about their stance that we're just—we're being unfairly targeted? Sure. No, Robert's exactly right. It's totally ridiculous, this usual narrative from the left, which is to say, well, okay, the law now all of a sudden has to apply not to themselves but only apply to Republicans.

[00:14:35] Again, you saw this in the Biden-Harris regime when literally the Justice Department was weaponized against protesting moms and dads who were concerned at school board meetings when we were labeled domestic terrorists. Now we actually have what would appear to be a very legitimate fraud scheme going on within the Democrat Party's fundraising platform, and now all of a sudden they don't want to investigate it. Remind the listener here, these are the same people, the same Democrats who said in 2016 the elections are fraudulent.

[00:14:59] Then 2020 elections said we have the most secure elections of all time, and now they're back to saying the elections are fraudulent, and now Kamala just borrowed the slogan, we need to make it too big to rig. So the Democrats are hypocrites. So read the writing, it's right on the wall. So that's the message to the viewer and the everyday American. Very good.

If you're thinking about defrauding the American taxpayer, if you're thinking about skimming off the top, if you're thinking about taking a program that was meant for hungry children or for needy young mothers, don't do it.

[00:16:37] Go and get a job instead because this administration is not going to let you steal from people who we're supposed to be taking care of in this country so that you can get rich while the American taxpayer works their tail off in order to fund our government. Skylar, we oftentimes see that the government passes a new law or new rule, but then there seems to be no enforcement mechanism. Until now, when the Trump administration is making a serious effort to crack down on fraud.

[00:17:06] And I have to say that a lot of the credit for this goes to Elon Musk and to Lutnik for working so hard to get Doge off the ground. And then to especially Nick Shirley for exposing and taking that intangible fraud word and putting pictures and video with it so we actually see what is happening. All right. So what do you make of this effort by the Trump administration to crack down on fraud?

[00:17:33] I think single-handedly this is one of the greatest things that this administration has done. Now within, you know, actually being in the office and then also on the campaign trail. This was, you know, President Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance, they really coined this. They said that these are going to be promises made and promises kept. We have so much fraud in this country. And I think to the everyday American who's listening right now, this is one of the most important things that could happen. Because so many Americans have been struggling for far too long.

[00:17:59] And so much of that has been driven by the waste, the fraud, and the abuse of government, of Congress and our federal government spending money like crazy, funding pet projects like we've seen all across the world. It's just been absolute absurdity after absurdity. So we need to, as we continue to bring back jobs and opportunity and investment in this country, also make sure, too, that while we're spending money, we're going to be investing into things that are not waste, fraud, and abuse, but actually protect and defend the everyday American who needs that aid most. Yes.

[00:18:28] And that's what we should be doing. Look, our organization especially will come in and debate whether a government program should exist and how much money should be paid for it. We are very much for constitutionally limited government. We know that sometimes we're going to get outvoted and we're not going to get our way on those programs. We understand that. What we certainly expect is that those programs, the money being spent is being spent as it was intended.

[00:18:56] And it's not just being spent fraudulently. So you are exactly right about that. We need to make sure the money is spent as it was originally intended. Now, let's take a look at this next clip from the same press conference. As part of Operation Heartland Surge, the SBA is announcing our largest fraud enforcement to date. As of today, we've suspended 870,000 SBA borrowers.

[00:19:22] As you heard from the vice president, it's tied to an estimated $39 billion of taxpayer money across 45 states and territories. Now, you add that to the previous five states that we announced from Maine to Minnesota to California. That takes us up to now all 50 states about $49 billion in fraud. $49 billion from the Small Business Administration.

[00:19:50] And that was Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler. It's my understanding. Now, I haven't gone to look for where she said this personally. It's my understanding she is calling waste fraud and abuse something much in much plainer language that I just love. So I want to make sure I'm giving her credit. And she just says it's lying, stealing and cheating of our tax dollars, which is exactly what it is.

[00:20:13] Robert, of those 562,000 loans that were flagged for fraud years ago and were never sent to the Treasury for collection, why do you think they weren't collected on? And why is it so important that we're looking at this now? Well, it's amazing to look at, Jenny Beth, because with the prior administration, we're really focused on those four years of letting in millions upon millions,

[00:20:36] tens of millions of illegal immigrants, allowing fraud, waste and abuse to run rampant, not because it's a Republican talking point, but because rather they are the ones who have committed it. We found that now as the great peach state Kelly Loeffler has explained so eloquently, whether it's Minnesota to Maine, California, Illinois in these deep blue state areas.

[00:20:59] And really, to your point, Jenny Beth, the misnomer here is that Republicans, you'll hear this from liberals in the far left, that we don't want these social safety nets, that we don't want these certain programs upheld. Whether or not we disagree with it, this is our entire point. Many of us are willing to pay a little bit more or be wanting these programs to actually go to the people that deserve them. That's why we have a skyrocketing cost with nursing homes.

[00:21:25] That's why we have a hidden tax adding to that inflation in the form of fraud, waste and abuse. And it harms every single American in this country. The average household paying around $300,000 due to all of these costs. It's absolutely outrageous. And when it comes to affordability, we have to elect Republicans. And as my friend out there in California, the golden state Steve Hilton is talking about Cal affordable. That really goes across the entire country.

[00:21:55] Yeah, you know, you're right. It does go across the entire country. Steve Hilton is so good at just explaining what these problems are. I really appreciate that about him. That $300 out of every household, it really, $300 may not seem like a lot in the grand scheme of things. But $300 is a week or two of groceries for the average household in America.

[00:22:21] So, Skylar, what do you say to the American people who are paying for this fraud? Jenny Beth, that's a great point that Robert had just made, is to say this. For years, we'd heard the Democrats say that Republicans don't want the safety, the social safety net programs. When that is totally an absurd statement. We said we weren't going to touch any of those things. And we're going to find a way to continue to reinvest our money to actually expand and do better as a country. And look at it. It's said all the time. Small businesses are the backbone of this nation.

[00:22:51] And the everyday American, that's where you start out. You don't start out right away and, you know, making a giant corporation here. You grow to that. Corporations can withstand some of these things a lot better than others can. And look at COVID and the consolidation of power in the economy to large businesses when small businesses were allowed to die. So, Democrats were preaching about how they care about this but did nothing about it. It's only the Republican Party and this MAGA America First leadership under President Donald J. Trump that's actually doing anything about it. So, the listener needs to remember that going into the midterms, 100%.

[00:23:22] Yes, they absolutely do. There's so many things that the listener needs to be paying attention to as we go into the midterms. All right. Both of you stay with me. [00:24:01] Welcome back. Now, let me show you what the chairman of the Federal Reserve said yesterday. The plain fact is that inflation is too high and has been for too long. This summer's inflation readings do not tell me that underlying trends have meaningfully improved.

[00:24:22] Based on the most recent CPI and PPI data, the 12-month change in total PCE prices likely was around 3.6% in August. Core PCE and CPI prices running at about 3.2 and 2.4% respectively. So, Robert, 12 members of the Federal Reserve voted to raise the interest rates. No one dissented. What does that unanimous vote tell you?

[00:24:52] Tell us just about what they have done with the interest rates right now. I think it shows the seriousness of what happened over the four years, the Biden administration skyrocketing the national debt and inflation rates here in this country. We had an amazing opportunity, Jenny Beth, to attend the South Carolina breakfast on the very first day of the convention just last week in Dallas, Texas.

[00:25:16] So, many Georgians invited to our friends in the Palmetto State their breakfast and Secretary Besant and Speaker Gingrich highlighting as keynote speakers at this breakfast. But Scott Besant mentioned that we're at an opportunity now that we have to grow our way out of this. And it's only just begun in this second term of the Trump administration.

[00:25:40] Because if you look at everything that's taken place, we remember back 2008 and the housing crisis. The too big to fail really became too small to succeed. And Scott Besant and the cabinet, especially from the financial sector, with all of these builders that are on President Trump's cabinet, including him as a builder, they really want to work from the bottom up, always the left talking about the trickle down Reagan economics.

[00:26:06] No, it's getting that regulation out of the way, but it's building people up from where they are on Main Street, not only on Wall Street with countless different policies that are bringing that access to the economy right to your zip code and your local community. It's very important to point that out as we go into these elections. So I think streamlining this is a little bit of a disappointment right now at 3%. But as we continue to grow out of this, it will continue to go down.

[00:26:35] Yeah, it's very important to think about the longer term picture that we do have to grow out of it. Skyler, President Trump picked Kevin Warsh and the Federal Reserve chairman went the other way. Do you think that independence is working? What do you think of that? And just how are you reacting as you see the interest rates going up? Sure. I think we have alternative perspectives coming from both the President Trump administration and then also from Kevin Warsh and the Federal Reserve.

[00:27:02] I think Kevin would like to see things return back to the way they used to be with the Federal Reserve, so not just printing money like crazy and driving our national debt. And I think he wants long-term price stability. Now, I think the president and Secretary Scott Bessett believe that with the booming GDP and historic opportunity and investment into this country, that we can take the short-term win right now and that as we continue to boom as an economy, that everything will start to level out. That goes from everything from oil, which the Fed would have, of course, looked at to make this decision,

[00:27:32] to everything else, just the historic jobs and opportunity. It's a monumental moment right now in our nation's history and the trajectory for our economy. So that's right. We're not going to spend our way out of this, but we're going to grow and expand our way out of it by just creating more opportunities. So they're just conflicting perspectives, but young people will take an interest in it as well, because what is this going to do to affordability for homeownership and the attainability of the American dream? That's what young people care a lot about right now.

[00:27:59] Yeah, it is. And right now I know that they are frustrated. One of the core things, the core inflation is 2.4%. Gasoline was up 3.9% in August, which is more than a third of the monthly increase all by itself. Here's what I want to, and I understand that when we're talking to somebody and we're trying to sell our story and our side to young people,

[00:28:27] they may not be listening to the further explanation. But Skylar, when you're seeing this, do you think that there is an energy story here, a spending story, or is it both? And also, it seems to me that if we were increasing and expanding our energy production, it would help solve some of America's economic issues in the long term.

[00:28:49] And I say that because yesterday I was researching and learned that part of the issue with gas prices right now, or with rising prices right now, is that diesel is very high. Diesel is very high because Ukraine is hitting Russia's diesel lines, and it's winding up having an effect around the entire country. Then you have what's happening in the Strait of Hormuz in the entire world,

[00:29:15] and then you have what's happening in the Strait of Hormuz, and it has a ripple effect around the entire world. But if we were producing more energy here and increased our energy supply, then I think we wouldn't be quite so affected by what's happening around the entire world, perhaps. Anyway, Skylar, I just wondered if you wanted to talk about that energy angle. Sure. Yeah, Jenny Beth, you're exactly right. I do think it's an issue of both. Of course, we spend way too much money as a country, and we've been complaining about that for many years, and that needs to change.

[00:29:43] But undoubtedly, as well, this is an energy problem. You know, look at the Biden-Harris regime, and then look at today's Democrat Party. They want to kill American energy dominance and independence. Look at James Tellarico, or perhaps better said James Tellarico in Texas. He wants to kill the drilling and oil industry in the great state of Texas. So that means he's a moron. And domestically, we have to do exactly what the president said, drill baby drill, unleash American energy dominance that includes nuclear and alternative energy,

[00:30:12] but of course, our great oil and gas industry as well. And then our geopolitical positioning throughout the entire world is, of course, we're focusing on critical choke points like the Strait of Hormuz, which has about 20% of all liquid petroleum products and natural gases all coming and moving through that critical strait, as well as, too, with Ukraine. That was very important in 2020 with our global dynamic, with Russia and Ukraine there as well.

[00:30:37] So, so much of what you see going on in foreign nations has a lot more to do with international political chess that is really tailored around our ability and the necessity of us outpacing communist China. Yeah, it's very important that we outpace communist China and that we defeat communism right here in America, too. Robert, what does a quarter of a point actually cost a family with a car loan or a home loan or a credit card? Well, to your point, Jenny Beth, it's the $300 mark. Let's just say that on average.

[00:31:06] It's the groceries. It's that maybe something is not working on the car and you need to pay that bill. It's going to school on a daily basis. It's those taxes pending where you live that might just keep you from going to that extra activity or two or perhaps the kids not playing a certain sport in a certain season. So everyone feels this as a result of a very globalized economy. What will help in the short term is producing more independent builders across the country.

[00:31:35] We need roughly 4 million new homes or at least 4 million places to live in the forms of apartments, townhomes. But single family homes would be crucial because big companies like BlackRock do not have the exact American citizens, middle class interest in its mind. Rather, you have situations where they buy up and gobble up land and really fight against your eminent domain and private property rights.

[00:32:02] And they come on in there for multi-use facilities. So these people, these globalists want renters. They don't want people to own and buy things on their own. And that, of course, creates situations, the high interest rates on top of all the inflation, on top of the waste, fraud and abuse causing all of these prices right now. Also, I believe when it comes to energy, we really have to start thinking as we are so energy dominant now, and that continues to grow, especially with relation to what's happening in Venezuela,

[00:32:32] perhaps finding a way to refine the oil again in the United States. The green movement dating back to the 60s, 70s, even the early 80s, really removed all of that from the United States. And, of course, you're looking at pollution issues. But that's going to bring down costs immediately. And even with all of that said, would take away that overbearing nature from what's happening in the strait. Robert, Washington spent so much money, and it printed the money.

[00:33:01] And now the cure costs everyone more money. Do you think that's a fair way to put it? I think it's right on the head. We have to stop this printing of money. When you continue to do that, you devalue the dollar. It skyrockets inflation. And, of course, going off of the gold standard. I know Skylar is very passionate about this as well. But even as we look at that, diversification is key for every American citizen right now to think about

[00:33:28] because you may not be able to survive just on that one salary. How many homes now are dual salaries? And how many advertisements do you see on the right side of the aisle, not only for gold and silver, but also diversification in owning of property? So this is so crucial right now that we slow down. We're $40 trillion in debt and really cut the waste, fraud, and abuse on top of what's so impressive about the Trump administration.

[00:33:56] The first time around, for every new regulation that came into place, they aim to get rid of two or three. That's now at 23. Yes, Scott Besant and his team, really extraordinary at the Treasury. For every new regulation coming in, they're slashing 23 of them. Even with all of that in two years, we have seen how bloated and huge this federal government has become in the modern era. Skylar, you're passionate about us being off the gold standard and probably should have been on it.

[00:34:26] I would imagine that means you have your own thoughts about the Federal Reserve. You want to chime in? Yes, I do, undoubtedly. You know, I want to make a quick point, too, and just say this. The Trump administration is really one of the first administrations we've had in a long time that's not willing to just kick the can down the road and rely on other people to solve problems just for election cycles.

[00:35:15] It should be under this president. And when we do that, we're going to be booming again as a country and we'll have a very great dominant U.S. dollar that everybody will want to invest in. And that is exactly what we want. We want a good, strong dollar and we want the economy to improve. When we do have some good economic news this week. The Census Bureau says that the poverty rate fell for the second year in a row to 10.2 percent in 2025. And it is the lowest level since the government began tracking it.

[00:35:45] While the median income, the median household income rose to rose 2.6 percent to a record of $87,460. Skylar, what does that tell you about what's happening in the economy that it might be some good news? Sure. Well, I'll say this, you know, as our incomes continue to increase, this is where it's so important for us to just continue to take advantage of this opportunity we have in the country. Booming jobs and our jobs report was just fantastic.

[00:36:13] And as a young person, that's what's so incredibly important is to know that there's light at the end of the tunnel here, that we're going to have opportunity to grow and love our country and be able to achieve and attain the American dream that our parents and our grandparents were able to. You know, if you look at the way things were in the 1950s, you could survive on that single income. You could have, you know, five plus kids and you could send them all through school and it was all paid for. We're going to get back to that as a country.

[00:36:36] And it's only going to come from actually looking at the short term right now and the long term as well to say we need to dominate again as a country. And that's what's fundamental to Americans. We don't want to hate this country like Biden and Harris and the progressive Democrats and the Democrats socialists want us to do. Now we want to love this country. We want to love our future. And we want to love what we can build with our own two hands. That is exactly right. And that's why we're involved, because we do love our country and we want what's best for our country. We want what's best for our fellow Americans.

[00:37:06] And we want to make sure that we've got a great country for future generations. Robert, there's one other remarkable number from the Census Bureau report. Child poverty fell to a record low of 13.4 percent. And at the same time, the supplemental poverty measure, which factors in taxes, government benefits and expenses, remained at 13.1 percent. That really wasn't significant, significantly or statistically different from 2024.

[00:37:35] So what do you think explains that gap? Which measure gives us a clearer picture of how American families are actually doing? Oh, yes. Well, I think it's amazing because it really pushes back on the Sanders narrative and the far left socialists that are running right now, because people are having opportunity when you get government out of the way. For me, it's really looking at that poverty rate number.

[00:37:57] I think it's very crucial to see go down in this moment, because when you compare it to the overall GDP and what's happening actually inside of households, because we get through all these numbers out there. But people are actually asking, well, what does it mean for me? Look at the golden state of California, which we really focus on on this show.

[00:38:16] If you're making that average, which is now above this mark of 80,000 a year, we're finding homelessness happening there because of that number, which may not happen in somewhere like Nebraska or even in Arkansas because of the cost of living, because of blue state, big government, socialist policies brought in by people like Governor Gavin Newsom, among others like J.B. Pritzker and Kathy Hochul, just to name those two in Illinois and New York.

[00:38:44] We have to go away from these programs that really are binding the taxpayer and bounding them to chains and let the economic engine of America roar. And it's people like President Trump with a business background that are making that difference happen every day at the federal level. And let's elect more people like that at the state level so you can have places like the Southeast United States. This place has been booming the last few years and people are moving here.

[00:39:11] I want to stand out there just on the freeway and just hold up a sign that we're full. Atlanta, Georgia is getting way too packed now, but we welcome all of those. They're trying to escape the awful policies of these deep blue states. You are right. And it certainly is getting very full in Georgia and in Florida and in the other states in the Southeast. You're welcome to come here. We've got a lot of good Southern hospitality.

[00:41:38] Yesterday, or I guess not just yesterday, but this week, Congressman Massey, Thomas Massey, started trying to impeach Secretary Pete Hegseth over disagreements involving the War Powers Act and President Trump's and the administration's military decisions. But impeachment is supposed to be reserved for high crimes and misdemeanors.

[00:41:59] I don't know if Congressman Massey is serious about this or not, because it's a serious constitutional remedy, and it should be reserved for high crimes and misdemeanors, not for resolving policy and legal disagreements within administration. Skylar, Massey says that Speaker Johnson sent the House of Representatives home early to avoid a vote on this impeachment resolution.

[00:42:28] But if Republican leaders believe these allegations simply do not warrant impeaching a cabinet secretary, why should Speaker Johnson allow the House floor in these 47 days we have left to be used for something that they don't even agree with? And is there a danger in normalizing impeachments over disputes that winds up weakening this constitutional standard? Jenny Beth, you're exactly right.

[00:42:57] And I think Thomas Massey maybe just made a miscalculated decision, or he has personal disagreements with this administration with President Trump, which I think is probably definitely the case. And I think it's actually a page out of the Democrat playbook. I mean, the whole time we've been saying that if the Democrats win the midterms, they'll just go right back to what they did in Trump term one, which is to stonewall the president at every turn for no reason other than just political disagreements.

[00:43:20] So you're exactly right. It should be reserved for actually high crimes and big issues that the American people would care about and also defending our Constitution and our Republican model of government. I have not seen anything that the president has done that would warrant impeachment, unfortunately, now like Thomas Massey is pushing for. I think there's far more productive things for the United States Congress and the U.S. House of Representatives to be focusing on. And I think one of those things would be for the United States Senate to pass the Save America Act, as we were mentioning a little bit earlier in the show.

[00:43:49] And, Robert, what do you think of Congressman Thomas Massey's efforts here and the fact that Speaker Johnson just went ahead and I guess the whole House decided, yeah, we're just going to go back and campaign right now? Well, congressmen have points of personal privilege to bring to the floor and can do that. The Speaker also has the right to gavel in and gavel out the House and look at the House record. They have voted countless times now to pass the Save America Act. They vote on the one big, beautiful bill. No tax on tips. No tax on overtime.

[00:44:18] No tax on Social Security. Defending parents' rights when an egregious big government agency comes into your home simply because you went to protest men in women's sports and what's happening on school boards. My goodness gracious, the House has done its job. And over the course of the next six weeks, these congressmen have to go make that pitch in these districts.

[00:44:44] We're looking at 60-plus retirements, whether people having lost their primaries or running for other offices. So we're going to have brand-new congressmen on the right and the left. It's going to look like a very new House just in a few short weeks here. And I think that Mr. Massey, who is a lame duck, should go enjoy vacation in Puerto Rico with people like Marjorie Taylor Greene

[00:45:07] and just let people like Ed Galrine, who's going to be an outstanding replacement, get in there and get the job done for the American people. Yes, that is exactly right. And, Skylar, quickly, primary season finally closed on Tuesday in Delaware. We've got now nearly 100 members of Congress that will not be coming back. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee spent in 10 primaries and lost three of them to Democratic Socialists of America.

[00:45:37] What do you think is going on in the Democratic Party? And why should we all be concerned? And why should it motivate all of us to get more active to make sure that common sense wins this election cycle? Absolutely. You know, we just saw this at the RNC Midterm Convention. This is literally a matter of common sense versus crazy. And crazy is, of course, the side of the Democrat Socialists of America.

[00:46:03] So they're really just communists who want to rewrite the United States Constitution and strip us of our God-given liberties and the things that have been so fundamental to this country and push radical ideology on us, too, like transgenderism. So I think the American people need to wake up and realize that if you want booming success and opportunity, if you want the American dream, if you want safe, secure society, and you want prosperity in this nation, then there's only one party that you should be voting for. And it should be red down ticket. It should be the great Republican Party. And we've never seen a Republican Party like this.

[00:46:33] The way that we're booming and the way that we're unifying behind this message that we campaigned on going into 2024 and now we're delivering on is absolutely incredible. And we're going to continue to do more and more every single day. So I'm going to see our great Republican Party unify around that message and to drive out these socialists and communists, because as President Trump said, we can never be a communist or socialist country. They will destroy this nation just like they did in East Asia and Russia and China. It is so many others in Central America. It's absurd. It truly is.

[00:47:03] We can't. And socialism fails every single place that it has ever been tried. Sky, OK, so that's it for news of the day. Just kind of setting this aside, all of my notes for it. Skylar, I want you to tell me about your organization. It is the United States Patriots Society. What do you do? What should people know about your organization? Well, thank you very much for the opportunity to speak about the organization. Again, it is the United States Patriot Society.

[00:47:32] Our website is TUSPS.org. And what we're doing is we're leveraging and integrating technology and innovation and community partnerships that we're creating in communities all across the nation to really revolutionize the way that we're operating in conservative advocacy in this country. Well, put simply, what we're doing is we're giving the everyday American who cares about the future of this nation a voice again in politics. And it's really to raise the next generation of principled patriots who are entrepreneurs, who are business leaders, who are also employees, and who are community leaders.

[00:48:01] And one of the things that we've done through our community chapter networks is our great chapter, really our flagship chapter in the entire country in Kendall County, Illinois, Democrat Illinois. We just made history twice within the last week. And we passed a resolution to proclaim in a township that our rights and our liberties come from the almighty God. We've put up displays and monuments that are absolutely beautiful. They display our nation's founding documents and our great national motto, in God we trust.

[00:48:29] And we're giving everyday Americans a voice again in politics to write and endorse legislation. And we have had an amazing 100% success rate on everything that we've taken action on. And that's just in Illinois alone. That is pretty amazing. And then tell people about what do your local chapters do? So a lot of what we do is community watchdog activism is a little bit of what we call it.

[00:48:52] We're modern day Minutemen and Minutewomen who are standing on the front lines of this cultural and spiritual war and battle that we are inevitably in as a nation. And they will write and endorse legislation and work with our legislative allies and partners to create what we really consider to be a citizen lobby. It's not lobbying. What we're telling people is, hey, this is what we care about in our communities. And these are the things that are being overlooked that we need to expose. We've done that with an oath of office bill in Illinois. It's HB 3011.

[00:49:22] We even had Democrats co-sponsor that legislation because this is common sense legislation that puts Americans first, our American families, American individuals, and the next generation of principled patriots. So we expose things before they become issues and support the things that we love and adore and hold so near and dear to us, which is our culture, our history, and our unique Americanism, really. Well, and yeah, we've got a very unique Americanism, and we've got to make sure that we're protecting it.

[00:49:51] We're 250 years old, but we won't be 500 years old if we don't protect it today. Okay. Skylar, I think what you're doing is so important. Today is Constitution Day, and we have training that we have run on Fridays. For the last several weeks, we did two months' worth of training with Bill Norton, and we went through founding principles for our Declaration of Independence, through our Constitution, and through the Bill of Rights.

[00:52:43] And, you know, I think I first learned about Constitution Day from Bill Norton back in 2010. It's such an important day to take a step back and remember what this country is about and why our values matter. 239 years ago today, on September 17, 1787, the Constitution of the United States was signed in Philadelphia. Congress made September 17, Constitution and Citizenship Day,

[00:53:13] on February 29, 1952. This starts the entire Constitution Week. Before that law, the holiday was called I Am an American Day, and it was celebrated on the third Sunday in May. And the reason every publicly funded school and every publicly funded—well, I guess that is redundant, but every federal agency has to teach the Constitution today

[00:53:42] is because of an amendment that the late Senator Robert Byrd, a Democrat from West Virginia, put into a spending bill in 2004. You know, that's the same Robert Byrd, whose birdbath rule drives us crazy when it comes to reconciliation, but this was a good thing that he did. Notice just how important it is. We've been talking about different things that Congress can do,

[00:54:10] different things that the administration can do. All of these powers come from Article I and Article II of the Constitution. And I urge you to just go and get your Constitution and take a look at it today. Read the Declaration of Independence. Read the Bill of Rights. And appreciate the fact that we live in this constitutional republic. And remember, when the founders came out and they had finished the Constitution,

[00:54:40] Benjamin Franklin was asked, what do we have? And a monarch or a republic. And he said, we have a republic if we can keep it. Or you have a republic if you can keep it. We have a republic. And it is up to us to make sure that we keep it. You and I will save America, but it is going to take work today and every single day. So make sure that you are reading the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution regularly,

[00:55:10] and especially today on Constitution Day, that you are getting involved at our website at IWillSaveAmerica.com.
