[00:00:01] Seven Days, that is all that stands between us and Election Day. And this week, the federal government wants to court or went to court to ask questions most Americans thought was settled a long time ago. Should you be a citizen for your ballot to count?

[00:00:19] Now on Monday, a federal appeals court let California keep counting, but United States Attorney for the Central District of California, Bill Assaylee, has pledged to hold California criminally accountable. I'm Robert McNeely in for Jenny Beth Martin, and this is The Jenny Beth Show.

[00:00:50] Welcome to The Jenny Beth Show. Here is what we are watching today as we close in on perhaps the most unpredictable midterm election in modern American history. 20,000 flagged mail ballots in California. Federal prosecutors say 405 non-citizens voted in Washington State across 30 years of elections.

[00:01:17] And one charge in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the former director of the FBI, James Comey, charged by the Department of Justice for the third time in the span of a 10 year, decades long saga. And President Trump is in Texas today, the Lone Star State, rallying in Corpus Christi and then Lubbock alongside Senate nominee Ken Paxton. The closing week is here and it is moving very, very fast.

[00:01:47] Joining me to break all of it down is Jim Paff, president of the Conservative Caucus. Jim has run congressional offices on Capitol Hill, so he knows exactly how the town works. And before he leaves us today, he is going to give us his election forecast. Jim, welcome back to the show, my friend. Thanks for having me. Good to see you, my friend. Yes, let's start in the golden state of California.

[00:02:10] The Justice Department asked a federal appeals court to stop California from counting about 20,000 mail ballots from people. The federal government flagged as likely non-citizens. So on Monday, just yesterday, the Ninth Circuit said no, two to one. So the case go back down to the district court for a hearing later today. 20,000 ballots, a two to one ruling, seven days to go. What say you, Jim Paff? Well, fortunately, they did not judge of the merits.

[00:02:39] They just said that the case wasn't right through the district judge. And of course, the DOJ is trying to get this moving because we're just a week away from an election. Also, the estimates are that there are more than a million people in California who are improperly registered or not have a claim to be able to vote.

[00:03:05] A combination of illegal aliens, of people who have moved within the state or without the state. I mean, they got messy voter rolls. Plus, they do mail-in voting where you just do not have any chain of custody that is available. You've got unlimited vote gathering. They can go to doors and urge people to vote a different way. I mean, California's elections are a mess.

[00:03:34] And this case is just the tip of the iceberg of the problem there. I don't even think you can rationally say that California actually has elections. They have selections and they just go through an election process to make it look like there's something valid going on. I think you need to throw their entire election system out, it seems. Yes, and I mean, not to mention all of those ballots that are coming in automatically for those on the voter roll.

[00:04:02] So it's bound to have fraud. And we see this up and down what I now deem the left coast. But at Sunday's hearing, Judge Patrick Bumate asked California's lawyers a question I think a lot of Americans are asking. Jim, you ran congressional offices for years and years. A federal court just split two to one over whether California has to check citizenship on 20,000 ballots.

[00:04:29] Is this a real failure of the courts or is it in Congress that never gave anyone an enforcement tool? Because as you know, we've been very passionate about passing the Save America Act. Well, by the way, there already is an enforcement tool. I mean, these states are not – there is a process through the laws that were passed in the 1990s.

[00:04:51] It goes all the way back to the 1990s where if the DOJ wants to take a look at voter rolls, they can make that request to the states. This is really the states refusing to allow the process that does exist to work the way that it should. But listen, it is a problem of court systems and the way we've allowed election systems to go. There is no doubt we must pass the Save America Act.

[00:05:16] And listen, if someone wants to argue that the details of how the election processes go now, how valid or invalid they are, you can argue along a spectrum there. The reality is we do have people voting who ought not to vote. We know that for a fact now. And one of the big reasons that this can happen is because of laws in the states.

[00:05:43] And Article I of the Constitution states that states do make laws about elections, but Congress is able to regulate that as well too. And Congress has done this, by the way. This is not new for Congress to regulate elections. They did it in the Civil Rights Act and many of the election laws that were passed then and during the Johnson administration.

[00:06:09] And the laws that cover what's called UOCAVA or, you know, absentee in foreign ballots when it comes to soldiers and people living overseas.

[00:06:21] We've got a voter voter law that regulated how people can be registered to vote, which frankly is one of the big problems we have of voter registration because they utilize license branches in the various states to allow people to automatically be registered to vote who shouldn't be registered to vote.

[00:06:39] They should have to go and do it all under the guise that certain people are being disenfranchised for whatever reason, which is a combination of Democrats thinking black people are stupid because they don't know how to get a driver's license. And the fact that they want to be able to vote.

[00:07:22] Voting very highly restricted mail ballots only restricted to people who are invalids or people who are traveling for business, you know, very restrictive affidavit signing requests that are there. By the way, the person has to request those absentee ballots under those strict conditions, signing an affidavit under criminal penalty. We we we got to go back to these kinds of elections or American people are not going to have confidence.

[00:07:51] We just had an election in Brazil where they they closed down certain voting stations and left others open that worked for the candidate who actually won Lula da Silva, supposedly won. And they opened up those those election places for two hours, changing the rules of the game in the middle of the game. We can't have that. The rules we have are bad right now. And we we can't have these these election processes be as horrible as they are.

[00:08:19] We've got to we got to we got to close this loop. And immediately. Yes. Yes. The former president of Brazil, his son, Senator Bolsonaro running for that office and the lawlessness that's taken place there is very tragic. Not accepting those election results. We'll watch that closely, Jim, as with the Israelis election as well and their parliamentarian system. President Trump endorsing Bibi Netanyahu. So much to watch abroad as we get into seven days left in this election.

[00:08:47] To your point, my friend, perhaps Jim Crow 2.0. I'm so offended by the fact that Democrats think certain people cannot obtain a license or some form of identification, given how much we use it in our society on a daily basis. And yes, the Civil Rights Act surviving a Democrat filibuster back in the 1960s.

[00:09:09] But California says the federal flag lists unreliable and that it could sweep up naturalized citizens who have every right to vote. Now, the left has predictably called those advocating for election integrity as either deniers or involved in voter suppression. I mean, how ridiculous is that, especially considering the fake polls being produced and procured in this election cycle?

[00:09:32] So how should conservatives, Jim, answer these questions and criticisms to those low propensity voters or those who aren't necessary politicos like you and me? Well, you know, listen, I think that we need to absolutely recognize that polling might not be entirely broken, but it's a pretty bad way to judge what's really going on. It's not been very reliable at all.

[00:10:01] As I always tell people, you know, polls will tell you something, but you have to make a judgment beyond them to see what's really going on. And there have been many election cycles, mostly presidential cycles of grant that have greater swings. But polls have been underreporting Republican support and candidates for some time now, definitely in 2016, 20 and 24,

[00:10:27] where they were totally underestimating what Donald Trump could do and what he would have, severely overestimating what Democrats would do. But even in these off year elections, you have margins that favor Democrats.

[00:10:43] What every person should understand is that the turnout model that works for Republicans in this election cycle is one where Republicans who don't typically come to midterm elections do come and vote in this midterm election. So everyone's got to recognize you. Don't sit it out. Don't listen to what the polls say. Go get out and vote. Vote for the person you care about.

[00:11:13] They could end up being one of the worst offenders. We it is historically been the fact that about a quarter, maybe at best 30 percent of all people who claim Christian faith go out to vote. That means they're three quarters to two thirds of every person who claims to be a Christian that doesn't go vote. They need to go vote. And that matters because you talk about voter suppression.

[00:11:40] Democrats have been suppressing as best they can conservative Christian votes for decades now by saying you shouldn't be involved in politics. By actually, you know, and Megan Basham wrote a book, Shepherds for Sale, a couple of years ago, which really documents how the left has actually been funding so-called Christian organizations to encourage Christians not to vote. Why? Because those are voters. They don't want to show up at the polls.

[00:12:06] They were so angry at the rise of the Christian right in the late 90s, early 2000s. They've been working to suppress that vote ever since. But for those who call people like you and me who have real concerns about our voting process to call us election deniers, my response to that is this.

[00:12:26] There is no government process, no political process, no electoral process that doesn't require vigilance to make the standards work properly. I have been working elections since the 1990s. I didn't just work on Capitol Hill. I've worked on campaigns and run campaigns for over 30 years now. And I'm telling you that it requires vigilance to make these things work right.

[00:12:57] Our election processes were never perfect, but I would argue that in the last 20 years or so, that they have been highly imperfect, highly prone to problems. And it is incumbent upon every one of us who cares about the American Republic to stand for it by getting out to vote. And at every election time, getting involved to the degree you can in the election process so you can monitor what's going on in your area and make sure things go right.

[00:13:24] If we do that collectively around the country, we could win almost every election cycle. And that's why I'm so excited to have you here in the room where it happens. You are the man in the arena, Jim. You truly are with all of your background. And thank you for bringing that up about the Christian vote. Just down the street from here, we see the Ebenezer Baptist Church, the once great, the Martin Luther Kings, three generations, junior, his father, grandfather, all of them preaching from that pulpit.

[00:13:53] Now, if you look at who works there, it's all a Democrat machine that has gone through that church. And it's tragic because they are suppressing the true Christian vote. And as our late great friend Charlie Kirk mentioned countless times, Moses was political. Aaron was political. Deuteronomy, Leviticus, the most quoted books that pertain to the Constitutional Republic. And mixing it with the English common law that became this great experiment over the last 250 years.

[00:14:22] So for those who claim that we are not a Christian nation, they don't know what they're talking about or they have really taken somewhat of a blue pill to follow a far left narrative. That's ridiculous. It seeks to get God out of the country, out of the nation.

[00:14:39] And sadly, truly a secular nation is not in is not congruent with our constitutional republic, because as our founders put it, it takes the whole of a moral nation to do just what we are trying to save and conserve here in America. So, again, seven days out. What should a grassroots activist actually do this week, Jim? They are worried about the voter rolls in their own county.

[00:15:07] Well, first of all, the number one thing everyone should be doing right now is calling your friends and family and urging them to vote and making sure that they are voting. The next best thing you can do is to observe what's happening at your voting place. If you see a problem, report it. Tell people what's going on. And that's not just on Election Day on November 3rd. It's also right now if you're going to an early voting location. You need to monitor with your eyes what's happening there.

[00:15:37] And if you see inconsistencies or problems or things that are worrisome, you need to report it. You may not be an expert on what the technical rules are at that voting place, but some stuff is just common sense. And if you see an issue there, then you need to report it. Report it to your local authorities. Call your local county or state party headquarters and tell them what's going on.

[00:16:01] The RNC actually has a very thorough legal team of thousands of lawyers that they've got distributed everywhere. Of course, the Department of Justice in the Civil Rights Division under Harmeet Dillon, which the Civil Rights Division handles issues like elections, she's got people, thousands of people, lawyers all over the country that are doing this. Call the Department of Justice. Call the FBI if you see something that's a concern to you.

[00:16:29] Make people aware of what you're watching. And, you know, it's too late for most people. If it is possible for you to volunteer at a polling place, do that. It's a little late in the cycle right now for most people to be able to do that. But this secondary thing that I'm talking about is something that you could do. It just might make a difference. It just might expose something that's a real problem when we have an administration that's actually willing to try to make sure that elections run fairly and properly.

[00:16:57] Democrats are going to be out there all the time saying that Donald Trump's trying to meddle with elections. That's a lie. I mean, it's just a flat-out lie. He's trying to – and his Department of Justice is trying to rein in problems that already exist. Democrats are the ones that are trying to create chaos in our electoral process. And I'm sure there are some Republicans somewhere that, you know, knowing human nature, that want to do this or that thing. But that is not our problem right now.

[00:17:25] It really is Democrats who are trying to muck up this system. So tell people what's going on. State party, FBI, DOJ, your local law enforcement. Tell them what's going on. Tell them what your concerns are and make them known. So I'm so glad you mentioned friends, Jim, because we have a great program as we go into the break. Friends help friends vote. And you can figure out how in these last few days here how you can make a massive difference for your own community.

[00:17:55] As we go to a quick break, stick with us. We have Jim Paff on The Jenny Beth Show. You already know the people who are going to decide this election. Their phone numbers are in your phone right now. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd, and big government socialism is on the ballot. So download our app. It shows you who still needs to vote. Ten minutes a week. Friends help friends vote dot com. That's friends help friends vote dot com. Do it tonight. Paid for by Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund.

[00:18:28] Welcome back. I'm Robert McNeely in for Jenny Beth Martin with Jim Paff, the president of the Conservative Caucus. Former FBI director James Comey now faces two counts under the Espionage Act unsealed Monday by Judge Trevor McFadden in Washington. So let's look at the timeline. The alleged disclosure was all the way back on October 5th of 2016. The charge was filed under seal October 5th of this year.

[00:18:58] Ten years to the day. Now, you may have seen these posts this week calling this an indictment. It is not. Prosecutors filed what is called criminal information, which means they charged Comey without going to a grand jury. So this matters because Comey's lawyers say the 10-year clock has already run out and that it is the fight this case turns on. Here is Comey's response as he has been claiming his innocence.

[00:19:27] Jim, explain why the difference between a criminal information and a grand jury indictment matters in this case and why prosecutors waited for the very last day. Well, I'm not a legal expert, so take it with a grain of salt. But the important thing is that you set the marker to get under the statute of limitations. Sorry.

[00:19:57] Every criminal act, many civil acts have a statute of limitations. And what that means is that if you're going to bring charges or a claim out legally, you must do so within a certain period of time from when the crime or the supposed crime was committed. In this case, that's 10 years. There are many other things that Comey did within a 10-year window similar to this that the Department of Justice can go for.

[00:20:26] But this is a very serious one. And James Comey is one of the most crooked actors of anyone that has served in the federal bureaucracy, him as FBI director at the time, and attempting to undermine our democratic processes.

[00:20:44] And so if the Department of Justice files this claim prior to a grand jury indictment, they're just trying to set a marker to keep it within the statute of limitations so that they can pursue criminal charges. I'm not entirely certain how firm doing this part of the process is in keeping it within the statute of limitations.

[00:21:07] But you can guarantee that if this is something that will work, that you're fighting judges in this day and age who don't care what the law says. They're just going to take their own decision. They're not going to consult always the law strictly. They're going to find ways around it. And we'll see what happens.

[00:21:25] But this is really important because after, well, 10 years, more than 10 years of lawfare against Donald Trump for reasons that are totally invalid, and I think that's already been proven invalid in many ways, you've got to go after the people who were actually committing the lawfare because they are breaking the law, many of them.

[00:21:49] Some might have been connected to it in a way that might not find legal muster for a criminal charge, but there are a lot of accomplices, people pushing this lawfare process in place. And it never goes against Democrats, almost never. And when it does, it's when Democrats go off the Democrat reservation. It's always against the conservative side of things or those who are willing to go against their fellow Democrats.

[00:22:18] Democrats, Robert Menendez in his first, I mean, his second criminal charge, which he was, I think, convicted of, had real merit to it. But there was a first charge that was brought up and would never have been brought up if he had stayed on the reservation, but he was fighting against Democrats on Israel. So they went after him. But the reality is that this is much of our legal system, certainly when it comes to political actors, has been used as a political, not a legal tool.

[00:22:47] And Lady Justice is supposed to be blind. That's why you see that statue of Lady Justice holding the scales with a blindfold on her eyes in front of most courtrooms. Because Lady Justice is not supposed to care how much money you make, where you come from, the type of family you're in, or whatever political efforts you undertake. Everyone should be standing before the law in exactly the same way.

[00:23:15] And Democrats just do not stand by that principle. They're willing to use every tool available to them to undermine those they want to politically harm. And so James Comey is among those people. It's very clear. He fudged it with Hillary Clinton on the email issue in 2016. Even though he made her look bad, he didn't try to seek criminal charges or make a referral to the Department of Justice. We know now for a fact he should have.

[00:23:43] So this kind of injustice has to be stopped. And the only way you can do it is to make those who commit the injustices pay a legal price for it. And that's what the DOJ is attempting to do here. Well, this matters so much because we stand on the shoulders of giants. Even John Adams famously or even infamously, pending who you asked back before the dawn of our republic, defended those British soldiers there at the Boston Massacre.

[00:24:06] We are built on presumed innocence until proven guilty by a jury of your peers or by that judge before you. And it's time that we get back to our Article III principles because we know the progressive left wants to use it as a super legislature, as they have in the past. So I think you're right on there, Jim. Now, which two or three races are you watching on election night as we hop, skip and jump to next week?

[00:24:30] That will tell us early which way this is breaking, because as I'm sure we were talking off the camera, actually, this is one of the most confusing elections I've ever been part of. Exciting nonetheless, but hard to really follow what will happen next week. Yeah, I think a lot of people are trying to make sense of the polls. Some people are throwing shade at polls just because they're trying to make a political point. Others are making very rational arguments based on the data, as I mentioned earlier,

[00:24:56] that there is some question about how accurate they are and what they really mean. But the races that I'm watching that I think are really important are obviously the Ken Paxton, James Tallarico race in Texas. I think the one that's actually gotten more attention, interestingly, is Mike Rogers versus Abdul El-Sayed up in Michigan. I think that's going to be a really key race.

[00:25:20] And one of the key things about that Michigan race is that a confirmed Islamist in Abdul Sayed, a supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood, is not apparently getting the kind of support that a Democrat would typically get amongst the black community, particularly in the Detroit area, where there is a large population of black folks that live in that area. And they don't seem, they seem to be supporting Mike Rogers, or at least there certainly is a cadre of them.

[00:25:49] And there have been indications for some time that they're not as high in numbers supporting Abdul El-Sayed. So that's going to be interesting because it's going to tell us something about the changing of the electorate in this country. Donald Trump had, I think it was 20% of black males vote for him in 2024. You saw the Hispanic vote, which had been traditionally been in the 65% or so range pro-Democrat,

[00:26:16] shifted down to about 45% to 55% somewhere in 2024. These are all demographic shifts in the way we evaluate campaigns that are playing out. And Michigan's an important key race there. I think you also need to be watching New Hampshire and Maine because both of those races are very interesting. Chris Sununu, who's a former governor of the state, very well could pull off an upset and take down a Democrat seat in New Hampshire.

[00:26:46] And that would be a very interesting one to watch. And of course, Susan Collins in Maine, you know, these are important because it's a very real view as to where the American people may be going. Those are key races that I think about. Yes, and we will be everywhere in the next week from Maine to New Hampshire, Wisconsin, a brief layover in Detroit, Michigan, and then on to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

[00:27:14] So as we hear a Tea Party Patriots action and with the Citizens Fund focus on this last week, where is the conservative caucus putting its effort in these final days? Well, every state I talked about, we're putting some effort in. And we're also looking at some key congressional races around the country. I think Virginia Congressional District 2 and 6 are really important and one to hold, one to pick up. There's a chance there that that could happen.

[00:27:45] You know, there are a couple of California races, actually, that are going to be really important, too, when it comes to getting overall totals, interestingly. And as we've talked about, California is a mess. So we'll see what happens there. But mostly in red states where Republicans were successful at redistricting efforts to counter the massive gerrymandering that's been happening in Democrat states for years now.

[00:28:12] So it's places like Texas and Florida that had a lot of those shifts amongst other states as well, too. Those are things that we're looking at because we think that those are critical opportunities for Republicans to try to keep the House. I think Republicans are going to keep the Senate. It's going to be somewhere between 50 to 53 votes. And 50 votes would be a 50-50 tie in the Senate.

[00:28:36] But you've got J.D. Vance, who sits as president of the Senate, that would be the tie-breaking vote there. And he's going to be really busy in the Senate if it comes to that. But I think it's possible that Republicans actually can maintain their current majority in the Senate, which would be helpful if the House goes Democrat. And all the oddsmakers are saying that's almost a foregone conclusion. I don't think it's a foregone conclusion, but it's certainly leaning in that direction.

[00:29:04] And that's just going to cause us grave challenges in the next two years if that happens. And real quick, because I know you have to get running on this campaign trail, but do you think that if Jeffries is to get the majority with his Democrat caucus, the far left turns on him potentially with such a narrow majority potentially happening for the next Congress? Actually, I think there's a pretty good likelihood that he won't end up becoming speaker. There have been a lot of criticisms of him. He's trying to work hard to be on the right side of that.

[00:29:34] And part of the reason that the Democrat Party is embracing radical Democrat socialism and, frankly, communism, one of the reasons is because they've got those kinds of people getting elected. And it could be three to seven or more of these Democrat socialists coming in out of Democrat districts. And Jeffries has got to watch his backside so that he doesn't get a stab in his back.

[00:30:04] But I think there's a decent chance that's going to happen anyway, because I think these people are going to demand it. They're going to want someone that is going to go radical left. So, yeah, watch Jeffries to be challenged in some form or fashion, whether he can survive that. I can't quite tell yet, but it's definitely going to happen. Jim Paff, president of the Conservative Caucus, thank you for your expertise and for being here just one week away from the 2026 midterm elections. Thanks, Robert. And stick with us next.

[00:30:34] A million dollars for anyone who reports voter fraud is a bounty the right way to catch cheaters or is it to incentivize to make sure that this goes according to plan? As Jim said, we have to watch our elections. It's too crucial in this constitutional republic. We must defend it. 250 years young. I'll tell you exactly what I think right after this break. You already know the people who are going to decide this election.

[00:31:03] Their phone numbers are in your cell phone right now. Election day is Tuesday, November 3rd. On September 1st, 192 House Democrats voted against a resolution condemning big government socialism. And in that same resolution, they voted against only American citizens voting in American elections. That's what we're up against. Think about how you use your phone. You don't pick up a call from a number you don't recognize.

[00:31:31] You delete the campaign emails and text. But when you see a text from somebody you know, you read it every time. And that's the idea behind our app. You download it. It checks your contacts against the voter list. It shows you which of your friends and neighbors still need to vote. And it gives you a message to send to them. The app only checks whether your numbers are in the voter file. Your contacts are not stored. And they're never shared. It takes about 10 minutes a week to use it.

[00:32:00] Your friends and neighbors are going to hear from somebody this election cycle. And I think it ought to be you. So here's your assignment. Go to friendshelpfriendsvote.com. Again, that's friendshelpfriendsvote.com. Don't wait for somebody else to do it. Do it right now. Paid for by Tea Party Patriot Citizens Fund.

[00:32:26] Just yesterday on Monday, President Trump posted anybody reporting voter fraud in past elections or in the 2026 midterms will be paid $1 million upon the arrest and conviction of those who created the fraud. Now, ahead of the president's post, the Department of Homeland Security said it has found thousands of noncitizens on the voter rolls in California, New Jersey,

[00:32:53] and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Now, thousands is the agency's own word. And no state-by-state breakdown has been published yet. So here is my request to the Department of Homeland Security. Publish the numbers. Transparency answers the critics faster than anything. And the Justice Department plans to send election monitors to polling places in Philadelphia on Election Day.

[00:33:21] And federal monitors have been sent under administrations of both parties, in fact. They watch the process, not the voter. A clear distinction because you may hear fake stories and fear-mongering out there in some far-left media outlets. Now, here is what ties all of this together. The reason Washington state is reviewing 30 years of elections is that nobody ever asked the very simple question.

[00:33:48] 82.3% of voters say only American citizens should vote. It's common sense. That number is far and away between Republicans, Democrats, independents alike. This is not a fringe position. It's an American position. So fill in the blank for me today, the viewer. I know I can't hear you, but clear voter rolls are, yes, I can hear you through the screen.

[00:34:17] I know it's rhetorical, but we are talking an 80-20 issue. Well, it's more like 93-7. And Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund is committed to clean voter rolls and passing the Save America Act. We will continue the mission regardless of the election results on November 3rd. And by the way, get in there to vote, whether it's early in person, as I did. I have my Peach State sticker or on Election Day.

[00:34:44] Make that plan to vote and ask your friends and family if they will and how they plan on doing so. Now, these major developments out of Washington directly affect your ballot and the future of our nation as a whole, where election integrity, immigration enforcement, and a growing debate over the future of congressional leadership are taking center stage as we speak today.

[00:35:07] New findings from the Department of Homeland Security are raising those questions about voter registration systems in several key swing states. But that has not stopped the White House from showcasing, in my opinion, the two greatest closers in modern American politics, Donald J. Trump and J.D. Vance. In fact, it has behooved the administration to play offense because their agenda is on the ballot.

[00:35:33] Whether it's the daytime interviews, primetime rallies, or the vice president addressing voters' concerns directly in town hall formats in real time, the executive branch is not sitting these midterm elections out. No, no. They are even going after all the fake polling that's out there because one thing matters, one number. It's your vote.

[00:35:55] And it should not be diluted by illegals, non-citizens, and it should not be suppressed by those who seek to keep you at home. Now, the president has been on a barn burner of a tour this month highlighting the crucial issues on the ballot. From last Saturday in Perry, Georgia, to Port Huron, Michigan, on Sunday to Corinth, Mississippi, and now today to Texas for two additional rallies with additional campaign stops in the Palmetto State of South Carolina,

[00:36:25] the free sunshine state of Florida, and, of course, gorgeous Iowa, among others later this week, as he gets towards the end of this very crucial election. As highlighted earlier, but worth noting once again, the DHS reported finding thousands of non-citizens on the voter rolls in California, New Jersey, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

[00:36:48] These findings are likely to intensify the national debate over election security, voter registration safeguards, and the need for accurate voter rolls, something that Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund is deeply committed to with our partners. Now, however, the optics and the antics that may be out there this election cycle, the specific findings and their implications for election eligibility will be important to examine

[00:37:16] as more details emerge from these stories. Federal law generally prohibits non-citizens from voting in federal elections, although some local jurisdictions permit non-citizens to vote in certain local contests. We've seen that most recently in San Francisco, California, and New York City, the Big Apple. Now, the planned deployment puts a spotlight on voting procedures in one of the nation's largest and most politically consequential cities.

[00:37:44] The presence of federal monitors in Philadelphia is intended to observe compliance with applicable federal voting laws through the scope and purpose of their work and will be closely watched, as we'll be watching it here on The Jenny Beth Show. This move is also likely to fuel debate over federal oversight of elections and the balance between protecting voting rights and respecting state and local election administration.

[00:38:12] We are a federal constitutional republic if we can keep it, just as Benjamin Franklin once mentioned all those years ago. Now, Senator Lee out of Utah, really a great proponent of election integrity and all things good. He is one of the best senators in all of Washington, D.C. in the great land that we call America and a dear friend to us here at Tea Party Patriots.

[00:38:37] Lee credited Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen of DHS with taking action to shut down these election loopholes. Homeland Security Secretary Mullen has suspended a Biden-era program that let pre-screened Chinese nationals visit the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands for up to 14 days without a visa. You may not have known this story, but more than 3,000 Chinese nationals used it in a single year.

[00:39:07] These islands sit close to Guam and American military institutions, and I learned a lot about them when I was in the great state of Alaska, covering local politics and the local news of the day during COVID. Let me tell you, many new American immigrants and citizens come through those islands, whether as natives or some of these Chinese spies have attempted to do so as a way of bypassing our system through our territories.

[00:39:35] And that's really something that should be put to an end. Senator Mike Lee put it this way, and his post is going viral on X. America is not a nursery for the Chinese Communist Party to steal citizenship. Birth tourism generally refers to foreign nationals traveling to another country to give birth, potentially allowing their children to acquire citizenship under that country's laws.

[00:40:02] The announcement signals another front in the broader debate over immigration enforcement, birthright citizenship, and the administration's efforts to tighten border and visa policies. Further details about the specific policy change will help clarify the new restrictions, and they are expected to work. And as the Supreme Court ruled on this in a ruling I disagreed with,

[00:40:28] Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh very clear on his message to Congress that they need to handle this clarification of the 14th Amendment and can do so through those legal means by writing legislation and by doing their due diligence. So whether it is Republicans or Democrats holding the House or holding the Senate just one week from now in these crucial elections,

[00:40:54] we will press them here with our organization and also with our partnerships and sister organizations to make sure that does happen in the coming weeks, months, and years, ideally sooner rather than later. Now, the president criticized the Senate for allowing legislation on daylight saving time to stall on a lighter note, saying the Senate is letting the daylight savings bill die when a vast majority of the country wants it.

[00:41:22] Again, another 80-20, 93-7 issue, however you want to look at that, but something very popular. And mind you, coming up Sunday, November 1st, we fall back that hour unless you're in the great states of Arizona or Hawaii, which do not adhere to daylight savings. Now, the dispute revives a longstanding national debate over whether the United States should continue changing clocks twice a year or adopt a permanent time system.

[00:41:51] Supporters of ending the clock changes argue that a consistent schedule would simplify daily life, while critics point to concerns about morning daylight, public health, and the practical effects of choosing permanent standard time or permanent daylight time. So for now, congressional action remains uncertain as they sometimes like to put their feet in the sand. Come on, Congress, let's fix this, because I don't know if you agree with me, and it's okay if you don't,

[00:42:19] but I like having that extra hour of sun later on in the day. I am quite a fan of those sunsets here in the Peach State of Georgia. Speaker Mike Johnson marked three years with the gavel this week, and what a speaker he has been. Elected as the 56th Speaker of the House on October 25th of 2023, he credits his tea. It's an anniversary, not a farewell, but mark your calendar. House Republican leadership elections are November 10th through the 12th,

[00:42:48] so it's just after the election, and the size of the majority he leads gets decided in, again, just seven days from now. Make that plan to vote. So those leadership elections scheduled for that second week of November, setting up an important moment for House Republicans as they consider the direction of their conference and the leadership team that will guide their legislative agenda moving forward. Now, Johnson's tenure has involved navigating competing priorities

[00:43:17] within his own conference, negotiations over federal spending, and the challenges of maintaining party unity in a closely divided House. But the upcoming leadership contest could offer an indication of whether Republicans intend to stay the course or seek changes in strategy. As they look ahead to the next legislative session, I would highly recommend the House Republicans to keep Mike Johnson of Louisiana as their leader. He's done a phenomenal job.

[00:43:44] In my opinion, America is a nation, not a maternity ward with a passport office. And Washington changes our clocks twice a year. It still cannot tell you what time it is, nor how much money they're spending. Maybe they need to get their priorities in order. Now, before we go, I want you to take or take you to Chicago to an airport. A lot of you have flown through over the years and story about what few minutes of courage can do

[00:44:14] if you happen to reflect at Midway International Airport. But first, I want to highlight the amazing work, truly, that Jenny Beth Martin is doing in conjunction with Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund and our amazing partners at Turning Point Action to get out the vote this cycle. We have been all throughout the beach state of Georgia, from Savannah to Dalton, getting out that message of common sense versus crazy, capitalism versus communism. There's no question it's on the ballot

[00:44:44] and you have a massive choice to make in seven short days. Yours truly has been logging miles by air land and sometimes sea, especially in the Midwest and in the Badger State of Wisconsin and its third congressional district that needs to send Navy SEAL Derek Van Orden back to Congress. He's a real warrior, a happy warrior, and one of the best members in Washington, D.C. Don't forget our efforts in Pennsylvania as well. The Commonwealth and our proud partnership

[00:45:12] with the great Scott Pressler and early vote action. He's a hoot to be with and perhaps no one with more energy at the door. He loves the grassroots and we love Scott for that and it's a real honor to partner with such a patriot who is making Pennsylvania great again. As Jenny Beth continues her relentless efforts as we barrel forward towards Election Day, please do not just vote. Bring someone with you. FriendsHelpFriendsVote.com. It's right there on your screen.

[00:45:41] Reach out to friends and family and ask what their plan is for Election Day. Not just the cocktail parties and the celebration victories, but what they will do beforehand. Have a conversation with them. Make sure they get out to vote, whether it's the church friends, gym friends, those under your own roof. FriendsHelpFriendsVote.com. FriendsHelpFriendsVote.com. Let's do it today. Now back to the Windy City.

[00:46:08] Fun fact, yes, there's a lot of wind in my native hometown, but they call it the Windy City because of the politics for those who did not know that. If you have ever flown, though, through Chicago's Midway Airport, you have walked right past a gorgeous memorial between Concourse A and B. There is a Navy dive bomber hanging from the ceiling, a Douglas Dauntless, the kind of plane that turned the tide at the Battle of Midway in June of 1942,

[00:46:37] June 4th through the 7th. You can see some of the photos on your screen. Maestro has put up. But back in 1949, Chicago renamed its airport Midway to honor the heroes of that battle. Now, the Japanese goals were clear, to eliminate the United States as a Pacific power. And mind you, up until this point of the war, the Japanese dominated the Pacific theater. So to use Midway as a base for further attacks, including an additional second potential strike

[00:47:06] on Pearl Harbor, just months after December 7th of 1941, a day which will live in infamy, to quote President Franklin Delano Roosevelt as he asked Congress to declare war on the Empire of Japan, U.S. intelligence advantage American kryptonite tenless, it's a hard one to say, roughly 12 people, this is a lesser known story of the war, had broken Japanese codes, allowing them to anticipate

[00:47:35] the attack on the Midway Islands. Now, a false message from Midway confirmed its identity as the very target on the island, enabling the United States to prepare effectively. And the battle outcomes, Japanese losses were higher than any other point at the war to that moment of June 4th through the 7th of 1942. Approximately 3,057 personnel gone, four aircraft carriers, one cruiser, and hundreds and hundreds

[00:48:04] upon hundreds of aircraft. The United States losses, still significant, but not near where they were in the past. 362 personnel, one aircraft carrier, one destroyer, and 144 aircraft. The victory at Midway halted Japanese expansion in the Pacific and set the stage for subsequent U.S. offenses, including the island-hopping campaign that would follow. Young men flew into the fight, knowing many of them would not come home.

[00:48:33] Now, in a few minutes over the Pacific, ordinary Americans changed the course of the war and the course of world history. We are not asked for anything close to that up until this point in 2026. We were asked to show up next week to vote, to bring a friend. Seven days left in this crucial election between common sense and crazy. Capitalism versus communism. Your few minutes matter in that voting booth. Think about those

[00:49:01] who stormed the beaches of Normandy. Look at the photos. Look at their faces. Those men, as President Reagan put it, who lost two lives, not only their own, but the ones they were going to live. They sacrificed it all. It was their turning point. Think about the greatest generation that stopped the advancement of fascism and communism when you vote early or on election day next Tuesday, November 3rd. Big government socialism is truly on the ballot.

[00:49:31] Will you fall for its siren sound or will you defend Western civilization with your solemn vote? God bless you and yours and God bless America again just one week away from the commercial 2026 midterm elections. I'm Robert McNeely in for Jenny Beth Martin and this is The Jenny Beth Show.
