Then the calendar. In Washington there will be a fight over who leads House and Senate Republicans. Government funding runs out in a few weeks, so there will be funding legislation. The new Congress begins in January with a Democrat majority in both chambers, and she expects a ton of investigations and possibly impeachment hearings; conservatives need to brace for it. And the next presidential election, and the search for the Republican nominee, starts very soon.
Finally, the opportunity most people never consider. There are nearly 500,000 local elected seats in America: school boards, city councils, county commissions, and state legislatures, all the way down to the most local level.
