The census is supposed to be a simple count of the American people. Wade Miller of the Center for Renewing America says it has been quietly weaponized to distort congressional representation for an entire decade. On this episode of The Jenny Beth Show, Jenny Beth Martin and Miller break down how a statistical algorithm called “differential privacy” scrambled 2020 population data — shifting rural Americans into cities on paper, tilting redistricting toward blue states, and even misdirecting hundreds of billions in federal tax dollars away from rural communities.
Wade Miller is executive director of the Center for Renewing America, a combat-veteran U.S. Marine Corps infantryman who deployed three times to Iraq and the Horn of Africa, a longtime adviser to OMB Director Russ Vought, and former chief of staff to Congressman Chip Roy.
In this episode:
• What “enter enumeration” means and why an accurate count is the census's constitutional purpose
• How differential privacy moved population numbers between rural and urban areas
• The six congressional seats the Biden administration admitted were misallocated
• Why a congressman can't find out how many citizens live in his own district
• How republishing the 2020 census could reshape the 2028 map
• “America First, Not Senate First” — four fixes for a broken Senate and the SAVE America Act vote count
