Sixteen people in seven states have been charged with voting in elections they had no right to vote in, and the response from Democrats is that 16 ballots out of roughly 160 million is a rounding error. Jim Pfaff, president of The Conservative Caucus, tells guest host Robert McNeily why that math is wrong twice over. First, a single noncitizen ballot cancels a citizen's vote, which is more than a rounding error on its own. Second, the 16 are the ones prosecutors happened to find while looking at something else. New Jersey's governor announced more than 6,000 noncitizens registered to vote and hundreds who actually did, and Pfaff says the underlying records point to a number ten to a hundred times larger.
Asked whether there is any way to know the real number, Pfaff says there is, and it is simple. Every state should turn its voter records over to the Justice Department under a privacy agreement, and the Justice Department should match them against the citizenship records the federal government already holds. Then check every vacant address and every UPS store box on the voter rolls to see who is registered there. The tools exist. What is missing is the will.
