The Lindsey Clancy trial has put a strange question in front of the country: why are so many women going out of their way to justify a mother who took the lives of her three children? Father Frank Pavone, founder of Priests for Life and of its election arm Pro-Life Vote, tells Jenny Beth Martin the excuses did not start with this trial. They started with abortion, and a country that has spent fifty years justifying one will end up justifying the other. He runs the largest post-abortion healing ministry in the world, and he says the pattern is one his ministry sees every day: instead of facing guilt and shame, people justify what others do and find somebody else to blame.
