Jenny Beth Martin sits down with Mark Hill, owner of the Theodore Ohman collection, for one of the great untold stories of American preservation. Ohman, a Bohemian immigrant who was taught the Declaration of Independence as a schoolboy under the Austro-Hungarian Empire, spent decades creating exact lithographic restorations of the Declaration and the U.S. Constitution, then spent 25 years getting them onto classroom walls in every town he could reach. Mark Hill owns that collection today, and he is carrying the mission into America's 250th anniversary.
