Arizona just exposed 133 non-citizens on its voter rolls, and more than 60 of them had already cast ballots. In this segment from The Jenny Beth Show, Merissa Caldwell of EZAZ.org walks through exactly how it happened, and how grassroots activists held the bureaucracy accountable.
Until 2024, Maricopa County was run by Recorder Steven Richer, a man who used election security funds to launch a mass surveillance system targeting citizens who criticized election administration on social media. He logged their tweets into a federal criminal database. He was openly hostile to citizen-only voting and the SAVE America Act.
Then activists organized. They educated voters. They used memes. They fired Steven Richer harder than any politician in Arizona, and they elected Justin Heap, the constitutional conservative now serving as Maricopa County Recorder.
Within months, Recorder Heap announced what the establishment swore was not possible: 133 non-citizens on the voter rolls, more than 60 of whom had voted. Subsequent research has expanded those numbers. And the SAVE database the radical left calls “voter suppression”? It also confirmed 300,000 Arizona voters as legitimate American citizens, protecting their registrations.
This is what grassroots activism looks like when it actually works. Personnel is policy. Elections matter. And every senator stalling the SAVE America Act is being put on notice.
