Using the 229-million-row HHS Medicaid spending dataset released by DOGE, Walter and his team have mapped the fraud province by province. In one Michigan investigation, 21 of 600 sampled businesses were dissolved entities still billing Medicaid — pulling in $118 million collectively. One demolished, asbestos-filled building billed $2.4 million. A dentist office dissolved in 2004 has been billing over a million dollars a year for autism treatment.
