Barrett and Roberts Sided With Liberals - Election Day Is Not Election Day Anymore

Supreme Court just ruled that Election Day doesn't have to mean Election Day. In Watson v. Republican National Committee, Justices Amy Coney Barrett and John Roberts joined all three liberal justices to allow states to keep counting mail-in ballots for days after the polls close - as long as they're postmarked in time. Election law expert Cleta Mitchell joins Jenny Beth Martin to explain what the decision actually says, why it's based on sloppy statutory language that Congress must clean
up, and what it means that Califomia still doesn't have final results from its June primary a month later. This is exactly why the SAVE America Act matters - and why the House is passing it for a fourth time,
now bolted to the National Defense Authorization Act.
