Sheriff Joe Frank Martinez has served as sheriff of Val Verde County Texas for 14 years. He has seen it all on the southern border and knows what must be done to fix the problem. Martinez was featured in the 2014 documentary The Border States of America, which Jenny Beth helped produce. Unfortunately, the same problems that existed in 2014 still exist today, and continue to get worse.
