The Department of Justice just indicted the Southern Poverty Law Center on 11 counts — six counts of wire fraud, four counts of bank fraud, and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering. The indictment alleges the SPLC funneled roughly $3 million to informants inside extremist groups, including $270,000 paid over eight years to a leader of the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville.
Jenny Beth Martin, co-founder of the Tea Party movement and Chairman of Tea Party Patriots Action, walks through exactly how the SPLC built its so-called hate map, how it smeared Tea Party Patriots Action, Turning Point USA, and the Family Research Council, and why acting Attorney General Blanche says the organization was "manufacturing the extremism it purports to oppose."
Fox News contributor Kira Davis (host of the Orange Report) joins to share why this hits personally for millions of Americans whose families have been fractured by the lies the SPLC helped legitimize — and why she believes this rises to the level of treason against the American spirit.
