Robert McNeily on the Air Force One Question That Sparked the Autopen Story

Robert McNeily asked Trump one question on Air Force One in March 2025, and the autopen story was born. Here's how it happened.

In March 2025, Robert McNeily was on Air Force One for Right Side Broadcasting Network. He asked the President a question. That question sparked the autopen story that dominated political coverage for weeks afterward.

In this clip from The Jenny Beth Show, Robert tells Jenny Beth Martin exactly how it happened: from his earliest days going door to door for Bob Dole at age eight, to becoming an infield reporter at Trump rallies, to the Air Force One moment that gave birth to the autopen narrative.

Robert also explains why RSBN broke through where mainstream networks did not. Instead of clipping and cutting rally footage to fit a narrative, RSBN showed the whole rally, the whole crowd, and talked to the people who waited in line for hours just to participate in civics. As Jenny Beth puts it, RSBN "made sure people understood the truth about what was happening at the rallies."

This is the first clip from Robert's full conversation with Jenny Beth as he joins Tea Party Patriots Action as the newest voice on the team.
