In this solo training episode, Jenny Beth Martin starts with the news and then spends the rest of the hour walking you through two tools on the phone in your hand, step by step, two weeks before Election Day.
First the news. The Justice Department charged 28 green card holders in California with federal election crimes and arrested 11 of them, after a citizenship check flagged about 20,000 suspected noncitizens on the state's voter rolls with ballots already mailed. 60 Minutes called the numbers tiny; Ballotpedia counts 94 American elections since 2018 decided by a single vote. Then the Social Security Administration's biggest records cleanup in 91 years, Senator Elissa Slotkin's promise of "signature cases" against people who served in the Trump administration, and the riots in France.
