Jenny Beth Martin makes the case that the fight ahead is not just this election, because a generation educated in the American public school system over the last fifteen years is voting now, and they were sold a bill of goods. They do not remember the Jimmy Carter gas lines. They do not remember Ronald Reagan and the Soviet Union. They are not drawing on the same well of history, because nobody filled it.
David Bossie takes it further. He and Jenny Beth Martin were not alive for Pearl Harbor either, he says, but they remember the greatest generation, because American history was taught in schools when they were children. He walks through the arithmetic nobody does anymore: four hundred thousand young men lost, the largest invasion in world history on a morning in June at Normandy, eighteen and twenty year olds who fought for liberty. Today, he argues, the politics of the school system has crowded out the fundamentals, and the result is a generation that wants the opposite.
Then it turns. They want to control the minds of the youth, Bossie says, which is why Charlie Kirk mattered and why he was targeted. Bossie ends on Portland, Seattle, the chop zones, and a movement that cannot afford opposition of any kind.
