[00:00:00] The House of Representatives came back to Washington yesterday and the first thing on its floor this week is a resolution that does two things at once. It condemns socialism and it calls on Congress to pass the Save America Act proof of citizenship to register photo identification to vote. Democrats on the Rules Committee could not advance it, not one of them. Then they wrote their own version. Theirs condemns socialism too, but in the last few years it's been a resolution.

[00:00:29] In different words. So what is their take out of all of this and what is the sentence requiring you to prove you're a citizen before you vote? Welcome to The Jenny Beth Show. I'm Robert McNeely in for Jenny Beth Martin. Welcome to The Jenny Beth Show. Welcome to The Jenny Beth Show. I'm Robert McNeely. Exactly nine weeks from today, 63 days from today in fact. It's the end of the general election season and the final

[00:01:13] day of voting. It will be election day in America. It will be election day in America. Massachusetts on the docket today voting right now while we are on the air. So polls are open for the U.S. Senate governor and house primaries in the Commonwealth. New Hampshire voting in seven days, Rhode Island in eight and Delaware two weeks from today. After September 15th, November ballot is all set in every single state and the primary season is officially over. Now every day after that is general election.

[00:01:43] election day and three days later on Friday, September 18th, Virginians will begin their six week long early voting process. Now I want to come back to that house resolution. In January of 2024, Jenny Beth Martin and Cleta Mitchell were on a coalition conference call with Senator Mike Lee of Utah. Cleta was describing what was happening in state 48.

[00:02:06] Now Arizona passed a statewide referendum requiring proof of citizenship to register. It was challenged. And in 2013, the Supreme Court said that Arizona had to accept the federal registration form because the National Voter Registration Act, otherwise known as the motor voter law is federal law and supreme law in the land. So Arizona still runs two ballots. Now, if you showed proof of citizenship, you vote all the way down to

[00:02:36] precinct committeemen. If you did not, however, you still vote for president, Senate and Congress. So Jenny Beth asked Senator Mike Lee to write a bill to fix just that. That's where this all came from. And that's why Tea Party Patriots Action has put two and a half years into this crucial work. We appreciate the house continuing to push the Save America Act because it will correct that situation in Arizona and improve trust in the

[00:03:06] outcome of the outcome of our elections. President Trump had a big win at the Supreme Court yesterday. Building the ballroom, it can continue. And the court ruling five to four in the building will continue as a result. Now, the court did not rule on the building of the ballroom itself, but held that the plaintiffs lacked legal standing to sue the government. As Mark Miser said yesterday on X,

[00:03:31] you don't get to stop the president in federal court just because you don't like what he is doing. You first have to show why you have the legal right to be the person asking the court to stop him. And then overnight, Iran fired drones and missiles at American forces at three locations in two countries. Jordan intercepting eight missiles before they did any damage. President Trump called Iran a failed nation and said we may smack them again.

[00:04:01] This war passing the six month mark on Friday. We have Jeff Reynolds, senior editor of Restoration News with me for the hour to help cover what the press does and does not tell you. We're going to take all of it. Socialism vote, the primaries, the Supreme Court, Iran and the Chinese bot farm that turned up inside an American energy fight.

[00:04:24] Also, I mean, New Jersey law about how someone can be jailed for causing emotional harm. What is going on in the Garden State? Well, Jeff Reynolds, thank you so much for joining me today. Thank you, Robert. It's great to be here. Now, let me start with the resolution because I think it's an interesting part. And it's not the socialism half of it, but the other half.

[00:04:50] Democrats kept the language condemning socialism and they cut out the Save America Act. What does that tell you? Well, it just tells you what their priorities really are. And I just want to go back real quick to what you said in your open about the media. Spoiler alert. They're not going to tell you anything about anything. So back to the Democrats, we've known for a long time what they believe and they believe in socialist solutions,

[00:05:17] Keynesian solutions to our economic fight, regardless of whether or not they call them democratic, socialist or Marxist or communist or whatever they may be. It's always about more intervention into the market when the market can figure things out just fine by itself. Now, Jeff Crank wrote the following. I keep hearing people like Hakeem Jeffries and others in Congress saying that they oppose the Democrat Socialists of America.

[00:05:46] But let's see if they're willing to actually vote for a resolution that would oppose them. Now, does leadership let their members take that vote or do you predict, Jeff, that Hakeem Jeffries will control his caucus much like Nancy Pelosi did when she was the leader of the Democrats? Well, you know, say what you will about Nancy Pelosi. But she had some real political talent and keeping her caucus together was one of them.

[00:06:14] She was from the sort of LBJ school of whipping the Democratic caucus into shape. So I'm not sure Hakeem Jeffries has that capability to the extent that Nancy Pelosi did or even Chuck Schumer, for that matter. Chuck Schumer is a wounded animal, but at least he's able to keep his caucus mostly together. We'll see about Hakeem Jeffries. I'm still the jury's still out for me on him.

[00:06:41] But I, you know, regardless of what they say about opposing these things, the DSA is ascendant in the Democratic Party and the Democratic Party is held hostage to what they believe in and the demands that they're making. The Democrats are deathly afraid of being primaried from the left by these people, by these insurgents. And one of the reasons that they're afraid of these people is that they're really good at retail politics.

[00:07:12] Credit where it's due. Again, the DSA, the younger members or the younger candidates, I should say, are really good at that. You know, the tick tock Instagram retail politics, you know, talking to people at their kitchen tables. The old style of politics that seems to have gone away from the Democratic Party.

[00:07:36] The older members have, you know, sort of issued that style where now there's an opening for younger, fresher, more vibrant candidates. Taking advantage of that new media, that free media and the relational organizing. Excellent point, Jeff. Now, the Rules Committee took this up just yesterday afternoon. It got heated in the House and the Democrat Socialists of America answered back on social media that they called it all symbolic House resolutions.

[00:08:05] They use personal attacks, racist dog whistles, one of their favorite things to say, an obsession with a Twitch streamer. So they did not say a single plank of their platform is wrong. Now, look at their program on the screen. It was published back in July. It calls for abolishing the United States Senate, abolishing ICE, which is the Immigration and Customs Enforcement, abolishing police and the prison system,

[00:08:30] and also replacing the Supreme Court with a judiciary chosen by Congress, let alone getting rid of the president of the United States. So, Jeff, it seems the big government socialists don't really have a problem with the DSA platform after all. They just don't like the attention it's getting. What do you think will happen as they're clearly successful in the primaries? Will that translate into the general election? Well, that's a good question.

[00:08:56] I tend to think that enough American voters still exist that know what socialism really means, that they will reject it in the general elections. They may have electoral success in the primary elections, but you get an El-Sayed against Mike Rogers, for instance.

[00:09:16] I can't imagine most Michiganders are going to vote in favor of the pro-care, pro-Islamist, DSA-aligned candidate versus a military veteran who upholds the Constitution. So, these guys are very interesting to me because there's a real tension there.

[00:09:40] There's this sort of myopia among the DSA folks that they don't think anything is wrong or weird or extreme about their positions. To the extent that the vice chair went on Fox News a few weeks ago and defended everything and said, yeah, that sounds normal to me. What's your problem with that? You know, so, but they also then realized that they have problems in electoral politics.

[00:10:07] And so, they have to kind of couch this in different terms and, you know, obfuscate and say, well, yeah, you want to, that's what El-Sayed, for instance, is saying is, you know, you want to tear away health care from hardworking Americans. That's not really what that's all about. It's about auditing and, you know, rooting out fraud and all that stuff. But that's couched in terms of racism, which, you know, it's a classic obfuscation.

[00:10:34] But they have that tension, right, that they don't know how best to present this to the American people that they'll actually buy it. Now, Maestro is going to throw this back up on the screen here because it's a really excellent point as to what you're saying, Jeff. These Democrat socialists make everything sound good. They're brave enough to go on places like Fox News and uncomfortable territory to share their agenda.

[00:11:01] For example, the abolish ICE, that's egregious, that's frightening. But look, and the U.S. war machine to, oh, the Green New Deal. If you're not paying close attention to all of this, you might think these people come in the name of peace. Feminism for all. Who's against women? But I know that they have a hard time defining that at times. And then, of course, housing for all to finishing reconstruction.

[00:11:25] There's terms and labels here where I'm getting at, Jeff, that these folks, everyone agrees with. Of course they do. It's kind of like the idea of Black Lives Matter. Oh, of course, because all lives matter. And I think that all went up in flames, literally and figuratively speaking, when people realized they wanted to eliminate the nuclear family when it was up on their website six years ago. So you have a double standard here coming from the far left, but they're very good at the messaging.

[00:11:53] They're very good at the messaging, but then they let the veil slip a little bit. That thing about finishing reconstruction is very telling, by the way, because that's reparations. That's giving several generations removed from slavery, giving them some sort of compensation for something that their great, great, great, great grandparents went through. Slavery is terrible. Everybody believes that. Everybody agrees with that. We fought a civil war to end it.

[00:12:23] We sacrificed 690,000 American lives to end the practice of slavery. So I'm not sure exactly what other reparations need to be done, but this is all – this really is – that lets the veil slip, and it shows you that these people really are dyed-in-the-wool Marxists insofar as they're creating these – what's called the Hegelian dialectic, right? It's the oppressed versus the oppressor.

[00:12:53] And so anytime they are talking about policy, it has to be in the terms of somebody is oppressing somebody else. If somebody has power or money, it's because they stole it from somebody else. It's not about how we can expand the pie, right? It's about how somebody else stole their piece of the pie. Now, you cover press for a living, and the resolution that we're talking on has two different halves.

[00:13:20] How many stories did you see that mentioned the second one, and is the mainstream really dialoguing this appropriately for the American people to understand? Well, I think we all know the answer to that question. It's pretty obvious that the media will completely whitewash anything that they're covering. They have a very clear agenda.

[00:13:43] They couch it in terms of it being equal coverage or they're presenting both sides, but they never present either side accurately. And so, no, you're not going to see honest coverage of this resolution in the press if you see coverage of it at all.

[00:14:04] You know, that's the other issue is that they often choose these things to whether or not to cover them based on whether or not it presents one side or the other favorably. Yes, and there's one more thing on the House floor this week. It came in after our morning research was done, but Congressman Andy Biggs has a constitutional amendment to fix the Supreme Court at nine justices. Of course, he's running for governor in the great state of Arizona.

[00:14:33] Now, this amendment is moving through the House. What do you make of the timing? Just 63 days out before Election Day. Yeah, that's very interesting. I'm not sure how exactly that will affect the midterms. I don't – it sure seems like they can't get a lot done quickly. So, you know, it depends on whether they actually get it together on this one. But this is a good move, I think, because we have seen this happen multiple times.

[00:15:03] The DSA wants to do the court packing, the AOC and the squad and the, you know, Ayanna Pressley's of the world want to do that. They want to – Joe Biden talked about expanding it to 15. So they clearly want to take over the Supreme Court and pack it with their own people. So I'm in support of this idea of a constitutional amendment to limit it to nine.

[00:15:29] I'm also, for the record, in favor of term limits on everybody, including Supreme Court justices. I think that we would be better off having a more dynamic Supreme Court that is more responsive.

[00:15:47] Because a lot of times when you're in the voting booth, voters don't necessarily consider who's going to be appointing the judges as one of those really important electoral issues. And then we end up with somebody thinking, well, Joe Biden's kind of a moderate, right? And he's not that bad. He's sort of the antidote to Trumpism. Then all of a sudden we end up with Ketanji Brown-Jackson.

[00:16:11] So, you know, I think that voters should really strongly consider that as a real important point when they're pulling the lever in the voting booth at all levels. Yes, I think that's a dialogue room for that because you want to have that middle of America literally and figuratively,

[00:16:32] as most people claim to be independents now, to really understand not only civics, but feel like their government is actually serving them, especially at the judicial system. But Massachusetts on the docket today, Jeff, and you have two court backers running against each other. It's Seth Moulton challenging Ed Markey. And this is the worst thing. This is what I can't stand about politics sometimes, the generational warfare. Seth is running this game really against the senator simply because, oh, he's too old.

[00:17:00] And the best poll before today had Markey at 60 percent, Moulton at 33. So it looks like a landslide. But look where it broke down. Voters under 40 years of age going for the 80-year-old incumbent by 32 points. Women went for him by 28 leading into today's vote. What happened there? And is it possibly wrong considering what we saw with the polling failures in Wisconsin a few short weeks ago,

[00:17:27] especially with the false reports in the gubernatorial race? Yeah, no, that was a fascinating story. The polling firm actually came out and said that they were – it was made up and they were running a social experiment, which kind of goes to my point that I've been making for a while now, that most polling that you see out there is push polling. So it's intended with the end in mind already when they're asking the questions.

[00:17:58] 2024, it's really tough to find a poll that you can actually trust. Now, regarding Markey, that guy, I mean, he and AOC are the authors of the Green New Deal, right? So I'm not sure it gets more leftist than that. But this other guy is running to the left of him. It does open up an argument, though, for term limits, right? Ed Markey is not even close to the oldest senator.

[00:18:27] And yet there's a real argument to be made that after a certain amount of time, it's time for new blood. But I suppose that also comes down in the electoral results. The voters have the choice to make there and they have the ability to create their own.

[00:18:54] Now, the live free or die state is the one I'm really watching because in one week from now, Chris Pappas faces Karishma Manzour, who's a member of the Democrat Socialists of America. And like we've seen with other primaries, the National Party has stacked in behind the endorsement of the establishment, Mr. Chris Pappas. So Kamala Harris endorsing him. So did Pete Buttigieg, Senators Mark Kelly and Cory Booker.

[00:19:22] When four national figures converge on one primary like New Hampshire, what are they telling you and what are they telling the American people? Well, I think New Hampshire is an interesting case. It's also about what came down the pike in 2028. And it's always an early primary state. So the presidential politics also play a big role here.

[00:19:51] But this is another one of those battlegrounds where the DSA is fighting it out with an establishment, quote unquote, centrist sort of or more establishment, I guess, candidate. But, yeah, so the primary is going to be an interesting fight. I think you're going to see something similar on the Democratic side to what you saw in Michigan and Wisconsin,

[00:20:18] where the far left challenger is going to have a little bit more trouble than they maybe thought they would have. Now, once you get into the general election, when you talk to you've got to basically if the centrists end up winning their primaries and going into the general,

[00:20:42] that's that's going to be an interesting fight because you've got a centrist Republican that may not necessarily. We've seen this in the past, not necessarily differentiate themselves enough from the from the leftist candidate. And the centrist Democrat may not be so centrist after all. So it's there's a lot of dynamics going on there. And Caroline Levitt ran a great race only at 25 before she became White House press secretary against Congressman Pappas.

[00:21:12] So that could be a seat that might be able to flip, especially with the president's influence in the general election. Now, three of the four of these individuals, Jeff, are looking to run for president in 2028, unless Spartacus, of course, makes a comeback. But does backing the establishment candidate against the socialist help them in 2028 or does it ultimately hurt them? That's a really good question.

[00:21:37] I'm not sure the answer to that, because you obviously got AOC, who's going to be running a populist leftist DSA sort of campaign. And we'll see how much sway she actually has, how much pull she has over the primary voters in Iowa and South Carolina and all the early primary states. That's I'm not sure the answer to that question, to be quite honest with you.

[00:22:06] But it really is this the battle for the soul of the Democratic Party. And the Democrats are very weak. I will say that in general, the Democrats are way weaker than you would think for the prime or for the midterm elections where they're opposing the Republican president in office. You would think they'd be primed to get a whole bunch of seats and swing the balance of power.

[00:22:34] But the enthusiasm gap has not favored them in in recent public polling. And it's really interesting to see this this civil war that's going on inside the Democrats is I think it's actually dragging them down. I think the DSA, the radicalism of the far left is dragging down the Democrats and it's giving the Republicans an opening to at least maintain control of the Senate, possibly the House, too.

[00:23:02] Not to mention the bills they are still paying for the former vice president's campaign. That was a cataclysmic disaster in 2024. But it really is Republicans to lose as this is a turnout election. So much of what we're speaking on on a daily basis on the Jenny Beth show is that more than convincing these midterms specifically, turnout, turnout, turnout.

[00:23:26] So quickly before our first break, Jeff, if the resolution passes this week in the Senate still never votes on the Save America Act. What was ultimately gained from this experience? Yeah, not much. I mean, really, the Save America Act has to be front and center. And if it's not, then it's a failure of the Republican Party. It's a failure of the Senate Republicans. This has to pass. Now, it's probably at this point too late anyway.

[00:23:56] But the idea that we can't even unite around voter ID where 80 percent of Americans and even 60 percent of Democrats agree on this issue, it tells you all you need to know about how the swamp operates. And so the swampier it looks, the less likely you're going to see enthusiasm on our side. So but we also have an enthusiasm problem on the left.

[00:24:23] So it's going to be in my mind, it's going to be a very low turnout midterm election in the general. And so it really is about turnout. You're absolutely right. Who turns out? I think that slightly favors the Republicans, but it's going to be a razor thin margin. Seems as if people would rather stand in line on Costco on a Saturday than get in the voting line, which on average takes less than five to ten minutes on average across the country.

[00:24:51] But Jeff Reynolds of Restoration News, stay with us. We're going to a quick commercial break. When we come back, the chief justice of the United States sided with three liberal justices and Iran fired missiles at Americans overnight. Stay with us. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd, and your precinct needs a trustworthy neighbor in that room. No matter who wins, everyone must trust the outcome of our elections. Poll worker and poll watcher deadlines are fast approaching.

[00:25:21] Don't wait for someone else to answer this call. We need you to be an American hero. Visit help at the polls dot com. That's help at the polls dot com. Welcome back to the Jenny Beth show. Let's go to the Supreme Court now. The lineup is the story here, Jeff. We have Chief Justice Roberts wrote the dissent and Sotomayor, Kagan and Jackson joining him in the dissent.

[00:25:50] What does that lineup tell you that four to five to four simply doesn't? Yeah, that that just indicates to me that John Roberts is the same old John Roberts. We've known and loved since his ascendancy to the chief justice. He's at times really, really helpful to the conservative cause.

[00:26:14] And then at times he is such a technocrat and such a such a maverick in the John McCain sort of a tradition that you can't nail him down. You can't figure out where he's going to go. And I mean, it's it's it's a good thing that the Supreme Court ruled the way it did.

[00:26:34] It's obvious that the executive should have the ability to execute the laws on the books and to have control over the White House where he lives. You know, so and it seems like this plan is actually a pretty interesting plan with the ballroom and the national security measures being implemented.

[00:27:02] But this this idea that John Roberts dissented with the liberals of the Supreme Court. I mean, it just reminds me of Obamacare and inventing ways to get in the way of progress, real progress, not the progressive version of progress. Right. And even in that case, Jeff, you have the interstate commerce clause that could be argued, I guess, in technocratic or legalistic terms.

[00:27:26] This is a private ballroom. We've had presidents changing the White House since 1902 to improve it. We had Harry S. Truman had to leave to go across the street with his family for roughly three years because the skeleton of the inside of the White House literally was collapsing on itself. So it's changed a lot over the course of the last hundred plus years. But Roberts wrote today's decision is no victory for the separation of powers. That's the chief justice of the United States of America.

[00:27:56] How did the coverage handle the chief justice saying that? Were they thrilled because he was, oh, going against the president of the United States? And and really, does the mainstream just like to see the toe to toe because they're so obsessed with beltway politics and not concerned with the average American? Yeah, I think that's exactly what it is. It's it's it's just beltway politics. But I really can't understand how this would be a separation of powers issues at all issue at all.

[00:28:24] The the president has wide range. That's what the Constitution set him up to do. He executes the laws. Congress makes the laws and appropriates the funds to do so. That's that's the separation where it doesn't even make sense that it's a separation of powers issue here. So and yeah, there's there's a long tradition of presidents having to fix things in the White House.

[00:28:52] And, you know, it's it's the ballroom hadn't really been used very much anyway. Now it looks like it's going to be turned into a facility that's that's going to be able to be to handle a wide variety of different events. So it actually enhances the the prestige of the White House. I don't to me, it's the same thing as cleaning up the reflecting pool in front of the Lincoln Memorial. What's the downside? What's the what's the objection to that?

[00:29:22] You know, why are why are leftists going in and slicing up the lining after it's been replaced? You know, none of this makes sense. It's just Trump derangement syndrome. Oh, really is. And here's one post from Mark Paletta that I really liked. Let's look at what he said on X. It's on your screen right there. Superb ruling by the Supreme Court. There is absolutely zero standing for the National Trust to sue. Simply not liking a building does not constitute injury.

[00:29:52] Basic Article three limitation there. And D.C. Circuit Court Judge Naomi Rao set the table for this decision with her brilliant dissent, finding no standing to quote. This is an encouraging development for the many other cases where left wing groups baselessly sue to thwart President Trump's America First agenda and left wing district judges issue baseless injunctions despite lacking jurisdiction.

[00:30:21] Hopefully this great Supreme Court decision is the beginning of reigning in these lawless tactics. President Trump showed great leadership in pushing forward expeditiously to complete this important ballroom, a military industrial complex. Well done, Mr. President. And I like to echo Mark's words there. Well done, Mr. President. President. On that privately funded ballroom. I keep having to say that this is not taxpayer money, but let's change subjects and go overseas to Iran.

[00:30:50] They fire drones once again, missiles at American forces at three locations in two countries. We have a map for the screen as well. Jordan shot down eight of them. What does Iran think it accomplished in this process? And now we're six months into this quagmire. Jeff, where do you see it all going? Yeah, this is a really interesting point. I think this really indicates that Iran is we've degraded them. We've fractured them.

[00:31:18] We wiped out several layers of their Islamic government. The mullahs have been severely degraded. And so you've got elements of the IRGC that are still trying to maintain control. You've got a civilian government. You've got the remaining mullahs or the replacement mullahs. If they're alive, if they're not, who knows?

[00:31:41] You know, so this is this is this kind of a response is probably the IRGC saying, you know, we're not going to let this go without a fight. But they are so degraded that they can't actually mount any sort of real resistance. This is just this is just them popping off pot shots, I think. And obviously, it's much more dangerous than that. I'm not implying that it's not a dangerous situation.

[00:32:09] But they are not organized enough to be able to conduct a real military campaign to fight back against the United States. So I still think, you know, it may be a quagmire, maybe a six month thing that was supposed to have been done in two in two weeks. But I still think that we are very close to getting this thing resolved one way or the other.

[00:32:35] I think Iran is is on the verge of collapse governmentally. But I also think that we are doing so many things geopolitically to make them irrelevant that it's there. They're not going to it doesn't matter if we win or not at some point, because we will have so many different pathways for oil to get out of the Persian Gulf that don't involve the Straits of Hormuz.

[00:33:00] Never mind having oil resources in other areas like Venezuela, where he just signed a big deal. The president is playing 4D chess. There's no question about that. As I'd like you to watch this clip from yesterday, handling a question from a White House reporter. Well, I would never say that. But the answer is yes, I rule that. I rule that. There's no reason for it. What a stupid question that is, actually. Here they are.

[00:33:29] They're there. They're totally defeated militarily. So now I defeat him and now I should use a nuclear weapon on top of him. What a stupid question. OK, thank you very much, everybody. Yes, that in reference to the big bomb. And Jeff, you just highlighted it with Venezuela. That new deal to the fact that Russia and China really not accessing the oil and energy it once had coming from that strait.

[00:33:57] If Hormuz eventually gets touched even briefly once again, what happens to what people pay at the pump around the world? Yeah. Sorry, I froze up there for a second. But the I think that you mentioned it earlier, the 4D chess that he's playing puts a lot of pressure on China and Russia. They've been getting cheap oil now.

[00:34:25] Russia produces its own oil, but they also get China in particular relies on cheap oil from Iran. They buy the the sanctioned oil at a discount. And so it's not their entire supply, but it's a significant chunk of it.

[00:34:39] And when that's no longer available, just like it isn't available in Venezuela, and we kick out all of their their military bases out of the Western Hemisphere by imposing the Don Roe doctrine and reasserting our dominance in the Western Hemisphere. Now, all of a sudden, China is is being put back in its box and is not going to influence geopolitics that way.

[00:35:04] And it puts a lot of pressure on them domestically, too, because if they can't access cheap energy, they don't produce their own energy other than renewables and coal plants. They're still putting a lot of coal plants online, but they're not if they're not able to access cheap and abundant oil and natural gas that really puts their economy in a bind.

[00:35:27] And with the full might of our U.S. military and our naval armada, we have Iran's entire Navy at the bottom of that strait. So well done to the United States command, the military and the amazing work on behalf of really our president deciding to be bold, be strong and end this 47 year war that others simply did not have the technological wherewithal or had the backbone in order to take care of this menace in the Middle East.

[00:35:57] But, Jeff, stay right there. And before I get to our call of action, if this is the kind of reporting you want more of, go ahead and hit that like button. Subscribe to The Jenny Beth Show. It helps us reach more people who care about liberty and the Constitution. And it gets this hour around the spin and dives into the very topics that matter most to you. So I want to stop and give you something to do. And it's the one thing that expires first before Election Day. Go be a poll worker this November.

[00:36:27] Poll workers run the precinct and they are the only people in that room who are allowed to speak. Now, poll watchers also observe we need both of them and we need them so much because the poll worker deadline in most counties comes well before Election Day. So the poll worker job is the one I need you to go to do right now. Now, you might ask, how do you do that? Call your county board of elections this week and ask what that deadline is. Most counties will actually pay you as well.

[00:36:57] And most counties train you. So it's not simply a volunteer adventure. You go in there and you are compensated. And I'm going to say this the way Jenny Beth always says it. If you are a Republican, call your county Republican Party. If you're a Democrat, call your Democrat Party or the Central Committee, whichever they call it, where you live. We want people from both parties in that room.

[00:37:19] In the end, no matter who wins this November, I want every American to be able to trust the outcome of this election. It's the cornerstone of our constitutional republic. So you can visit help at the polls dot com. That's help at the polls dot com to become a poll worker or a poll watcher. Again, help at the polls dot com. All one word. And it's on your screen right now.

[00:37:45] If you're watching on YouTube, you can click straight through to get access. Now, Tea Party Patriots action has been recruiting poll watchers and workers since 2012. The year Mitt Romney was the Republican nominee. Thirty five thousand poll workers and poll watchers over the last two cycles. And I've done this myself in Fulton and DeKalb counties right here in the peach state of Georgia. So let me tell you what the county boards are short of people.

[00:38:13] And it always happens right around this time of year, September, as we are 63 days away from Election Day. So make that call this week and serve as a poll worker or a poll watcher. Now back to the news. Jeff Reynolds, the great editor at large of Restoration News, doing a fabulous job. We've seen that access published findings from its safety team about a bot farm of roughly 200,000 inauthentic Chinese linked accounts.

[00:38:41] Now, inside of it are about 200 accounts who are posting about American data. So we clearly have this fight for data centers and that they drive up your electric bill and that they strain the grid with cartoons of data center operations getting rich off of you. Amazing to see this kind of intellectual warfare they're taking on the United States with.

[00:39:05] Senator Ted Cruz spent most of an episode on this very topic and his warning was aimed at our side, conservatives specifically. He said that good conservatives are echoing those statements and do not realize how much manipulation they're being subjected to. Now, is Senator Ted Cruz right? And how would you be telling somebody that these data centers are very much needed right now in 2026 against the Communist Republic of China? Yeah.

[00:39:35] So first of all, I think that it's important to address the legitimate concerns about data centers. Right. But the problem is there's so much misinformation out there that we don't know what those legitimate concerns are or we have brushed past them into conspiracy theories and and all kinds of misinformation that's been put out there.

[00:39:55] So, yeah, I'd be concerned if a data center came into my backyard and took up all this farmland and used up all the water and we didn't have any water left in our water table. But that's not actually what's happening, especially with the new data centers. And so a lot of this stuff is is obviously being put out by these Chinese accounts.

[00:40:19] This echoes what was happening in 2016, putting misinformation out from Russia that actually was in favor of Hillary Clinton, even though she accused Donald Trump of being the favored Russian candidate. So, I mean, there's a long history of social media being used for misinformation. And it's very important that we are able to discern fact from fiction.

[00:40:46] I've written on this actually at restoration-news.com where debunking the data center myths. There are so many myths out there. The power is actually in the new ones. It's being generated behind the meter, which means it's off the grid. So it's not actually impacting the grid. They're doing their own power generation with dedicated power plants.

[00:41:12] The water system, the cooling systems, because these things run very hot. The cooling systems are being run by in the new ones are being run by recirculating water. So it's not – it accesses it once, and it keeps it in there for a period of years actually. So there's a lot of myths out there that are being pushed by people who don't have the best interests of America in mind when they want to change public opinion.

[00:41:40] And so when we have these debates, we should absolutely be fully aware of who's pushing this misinformation, who's pushing the proper information, and who can you actually believe is pushing real facts. Yes, and I actually was doing some research myself on this. Almond farming takes four times the amount of water than data centers, so something very important to look into.

[00:42:06] And X finding those 200 accounts that may be false there, but 200 accounts did not produce 70 percent of Americans allegedly being against it. So how do these two numbers fit all together, and how do you report on something like this when it seems so misleading and confusing? Well, it's like the old saying, a lie gets halfway around the world before the truth even gets its pants on.

[00:42:31] You know, there was all this misinformation that went around earlier this year, and it's been very difficult for folks who want to debunk these myths to go and reach a mass audience like the people that were first. It's spread so quickly that it's been very difficult to address. And so that's why I want to continue to have the debate.

[00:43:00] You know, I'm certainly in favor of data centers. I'm not 100% convinced that we need them in the places that they're being put. You know, we should have that debate about whether or not we or where we would best put them and the best use of the land and the water and all that stuff. That's important stuff. But we obviously absolutely do need to have the information.

[00:43:29] I mean, I guess the idea that all this misinformation went out about data centers proves how much we need data centers, right? That it was able to be disseminated across the globe before we even had the debate. So we need our own data centers to fight back. What President Trump posted, sorry to interrupt, Jeff, is President Trump posted that the only reason a community would not want a data center is that they want to end up backwards and poor.

[00:43:57] And here's the post there on your screen from Truth Social that's aimed at 70% of voters, allegedly. And a lot of them end up watching this show, amongst others that share in so many of their belief system. Is it the argument that you would ultimately make? Is the president on the right or wrong side of history here? Yeah, I think he's on the right side of history, but he's on the wrong side of the debate, if you follow me.

[00:44:22] I think calling people backwards and poor was not the best way of going about doing this. But he is right about invoking the imagery of the golden goose that there is no doubt that the future of our economy is based around information and data. And we need to have the infrastructure, the industrial infrastructure to be able to process that data.

[00:44:49] Now, we can have that conversation about how much we should rely on technology and how much we should revert back to interaction and human relationships. And that's a valid point to make or valid. But maybe we didn't choose, but has certainly chosen us.

[00:45:16] We need to be able to win on the battlefield of ideas and on the battlefield of information. Yes, I completely agree with you. Now, let me move to the other thing happening on the House floor today. The House is taking up the Senate's stopgap funding bill. So the Senate passed it 90 to 6 back on August 8th. And it funds the government through December 11th.

[00:45:40] So funding lapse will occur on September 30th, which is 29 days out if nothing is done. Why is nobody in the media really talking about this and diving into the topic? Because they seem very quiet about it. Well, I think the media learned its lesson during the Tea Party movement, actually. We had a couple of government shutdown fights, and the Tea Party won those debates. And so I think they're just putting it starkly.

[00:46:10] They don't want to have that public debate anymore. So the media is just kind of brushing it under the rug and calling it typical D.C. politics. But I'm really tired personally of this idea that we have to pass legislation, especially funding and budget legislation, only when it's inconvenient for the senators to go back home for vacation. That just chafes me, right?

[00:46:35] But we haven't passed a proper budget in many, many years. We only legislate and fund the government crisis to crisis. And it just goes to show how broken Congress is, that we cannot just simply fund the government and have a budget that we stick to for two years. And it's so frustrating to see that. And it's truly a disservice to the American people.

[00:47:04] Now, here's the chain almost nobody is connecting outside of the Beltway. Look at your screen right there. Majority Leader John Thune is holding the reconciliation vehicle until the funding is settled. So inside that vehicle is the money to actually administer the Save America Act. So the House clears the stopgap and the funding is settled. But Thune releases reconciliation and the Senate gets whatever is left on the calendar.

[00:47:34] Which step do you think, Jeff, it dies at? And will we ever get to the Save America Act? I'm so frustrated over this. Yeah, so am I. And I don't know. I honestly don't know. Now, John Thune has been circumspect enough that I'm not sure if he will allow the reconciliation step to go forward or not with the Save Act measures in place. I honestly don't know where that guy is going to go with that.

[00:48:02] And that's kind of frustrating, right? Because we should have a clear signal from leadership in the Senate. We own the Senate. We're the Republicans, I should say. I'm a Republican. I don't know about you. But, you know, we own the Senate. We should show leadership and we should show a clear signal of what the agenda is and what it should be.

[00:48:26] The idea that we don't pass a law that 80% of Americans support, as I mentioned earlier, is just infuriating. It truly is we the people versus the bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. It continues. And that's why I always encourage those Republican, Democrat, independent, break bread with your neighbor. You probably have a lot more in common with them than you think, especially on election integrity. So we have a few minutes left. Some rapid fire with this big news day.

[00:48:56] Drug pricing first on the docket. The White House announced nine more most favored nation agreements just yesterday. So this is 26 manufacturers participating now, covering 89% of the branded drug market. The White House says this lowers prices for Americans in both CBS News and Bloomberg reporting that these are state Medicaid deals traded for tariff relief. Which version did most people see as a result of this?

[00:49:27] Yeah, I think that's probably pretty accurate, actually. That's the news coverage that I saw trading it for tariff relief. And it makes sense. That's why he's doing the tariffs. It's not for revenue. I mean, the revenue is important, but the tariffs are a cudgel to get nations and manufacturers to behave in ways that are favorable to the United States.

[00:49:51] We've paid tariffs for decades that were exploitative of our own economy, and we didn't get anything in return. And instead, we've seen all of our manufacturing offshore. So to use tariffs to encourage onshoring again by these drug manufacturers makes a lot of sense.

[00:50:14] I think I saw something like $19 billion worth was going to be invested in onshoring new manufacturing here in the United States. So that's all to the good. But this all goes back, again, we're just patching holes in Obamacare when it should have been repealed years ago.

[00:50:36] Well, that's my concern, Jeff, because when a real win happens, and sometimes it gets oversold if it's Barack Obama, undersold if it's Trump, and then you can argue right, left, and center about that. But who gets hurt more, the administration and their messaging or the people who actually have to purchase vital medical supplements and vitamins and life-saving drugs from the Chinese Communist Party? Shouldn't we be manufacturing things right here at home? Well, that's exactly right.

[00:51:06] Last I saw, it was 95% of our drugs are manufactured in China. And oh, by the way, it's in that little area downriver from that dam that's about to burst. So we're in dire straits. Yeah, absolutely. It doesn't make any sense why we let this go offshore in the first place.

[00:51:25] And the idea that we could bring that back and make it safely at home and actually have assurances that the ingredients are accurate, that's a really big deal. So I'm all for it. Yeah, and I won't hold my breath with the United Nations if they even will anticipate an investigation into what happened along the border there in Nepal and China. I mean, just a terrible situation to watch all that.

[00:51:52] Our thoughts and prayers with thousands of people, including the Americans that were along that border. But it could be nefarious engineering practices and they could build all they want. But the problem is they don't have the safety measures that we have here right in America. Yeah, that's exactly right. And that's exactly what happened in that situation. And you're seeing it again with that Three Rivers hydroelectric dam that has been in jeopardy for years and they haven't been able to fix it.

[00:52:20] So that's what you get with a command economy, though, is that you get things done that the government wants done. And you don't have any assurance that the maintenance is going to be done properly or that it's constructed properly. There's no incentive for that. Whereas in a capitalist free market society, the incentives are obvious.

[00:52:42] If you build a house that's going to collapse on the old lady that buys it, then you're going to be out of business and you're not going to be able to build houses anymore. And that's why it's such a moral system, unlike the left who claim human rights, who end up turning their backs on it because the most egregious violators that the Chinese government doing to really wonderful people. So we'll continue to stay strong on that topic.

[00:53:06] But Wisconsin, the August 11th primary, we spoke earlier on this, was in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the home and site of countless different rallies, including the RNC back two years ago. But five out of nine flash drives brought the central count had audit logs on them instead of ballot results. So we've seen 28,000 absentee ballots delayed. And that race was called on August 11th or August 12th at 234 in the morning.

[00:53:35] So observers could watch the ballots come in, but not what happened necessarily behind a curtain. So the Wisconsin Elections Commission took it up just yesterday. And that candidate who lost the race by half a point was a Democrat socialist. So the delay came before the socialists lost. Now, what failed here, Jeff? And was the chain of custody or the observers not watching it? Which one was the greatest fail of the two? I think it's probably the chain of custody.

[00:54:02] And I think it's just a slipshod kind of procedures that plague our inner city election offices. This is not unheard of. In fact, it's quite common in places like Philadelphia, Portland, Oregon, Seattle, you know, where they, of course, they don't allow the observers to be close enough to actually observe.

[00:54:24] But then there are either accidental or maybe not so accidental slip-ups in the procedures where you can't actually track the chain of custody. So that's a real problem that needs to be fixed. I still think Francesca legitimately lost Francesca Hong in that primary. But that's where we were talking about earlier.

[00:54:50] The poll that showed her up like eight points or something was completely manufactured. It was a social experiment by a non-existent polling company. There are manipulations from beginning to end. And I think this is kind of the history of electoral politics in general. And we just have to stay vigilant. We can never get complacent. We can never say, oh, well, we fixed our elections so we don't have to watch them anymore.

[00:55:19] That's never going to happen. Well, that's why the ultimate poll is actually participating in your election, whether it's early or on election day. So get out and vote. Don't take it for granted. And become a poll watcher or poll worker to help this constitutional republic. Now, Secretary Sean Duffy shut down 270 commercial driving schools, 110 over English proficiency issues, and 160 over training violations.

[00:55:46] This is after more than 5,000 people got a commercial license despite failing the English exam. And now a nationwide audit of the third-party testers who gave those very exams. That's a truck that weighs up to 80,000 pounds on the interstate. Next year, family. Where was that story?

[00:56:07] This makes me so mad, Jeff, because I dealt with the license for bribe scandal going back to Illinois when I was growing up that put a Republican governor, George Ryan, in jail for his time as secretary of state over that tenure. It led to the death of a pastor's family, seven wonderful children, and a beautiful wife. Absolutely horrible to see things like this.

[00:56:28] Yeah, and I'm in Florida where just last year we had that foreign truck driver that didn't know English and didn't have a license who tried to pull a U-turn in the middle of I-75 and killed a whole bunch of people in the process. So, yeah, no, the idea that we shouldn't be oppressing these poor put-upon foreign truck drivers is silliness that nobody agrees with except for the really radical left Democrats.

[00:56:57] The idea that they're defending people who can't read road signs and can't pass a proficiency exam for their commercial driver's license is appalling to me, and it should be appalling to every American. And President Trump announced what he called the biggest oil deal in world history. We spoke on it earlier, reported 35% of the United States stake in a Venezuelan oil venture with rights to 17 oil fields.

[00:57:27] So there's no filing, no agency confirmation, no wire service that has independently verified this structure. How should a reporter cover an announcement like that coming from the White House? Oh, that's an interesting way of asking that question. The reporter should be asking a lot of questions. The reporter should be reporting the facts.

[00:57:48] But instead, what I've seen in the press is things like the New York Times and NPR casting doubt on the Trump administration's ability to get this deal done. It's actually maddening to watch the biased news media throw their spin on it and say, well, there's no way this is going to work.

[00:58:12] Nobody's claiming that this deal is going to immediately lead to the reduction in gas prices at the pump. Because we all know that Venezuela has been destroyed by communism. And they nationalized the oil industry many years ago under Hugo Chavez. So they stole all that equipment. And then, of course, not being capitalists, they had no idea what they were doing. So they destroyed it all. And now they can't produce oil.

[00:58:42] So it's going to be years before they can actually produce oil again. But what this is going to do is in the future, it's going to allow us to top up our strategic oil reserve, petroleum reserves that have been depleted and put more oil on the market, which does a couple of things, including it puts a lot of pressure on Canada. Because we get the same kind of petroleum from Venezuela that we get from Canada.

[00:59:08] And now all of a sudden, this trade war doesn't look so winnable for Canada. Yes. And we will, I think, prevail in all of that. Jeff Reynolds, editor at large of Restoration News. Thank you so much for joining me today. And thank you for the work you do. An amazing organization holding the press accountable and actually doing the job. You can find Jeff and his wonderful colleagues there at restoration-news.com. Restoration-news.com.

[00:59:38] Jeff, thank you once again. Thank you, Robert. Appreciate the time. And before we go here at the Jenny Beth Show, one more call to action. Call your county board of elections this week and ask about the poll worker deadline. Heck, ask right after this. It comes very first before Election Day. Republicans, call your county Republican Party. Democrats, call your Democrat Party or the Central Committee.

[01:00:06] We want both parties in that room. And you can sign up at helpatthepolls.com. That's helpatthepolls.com. It's right on your screen there, helpatthepolls.com. That's worth ending on. And it's the most helpful thing I know about the political business. Every one of those 35,000 people decided to volunteer their time to sit in a room for 14 hours and make sure the count was honest. And yes, they're compensated for that.

[01:00:34] Nobody made them do it. They did it out of love for our country. That's a republic and self-governance taking care of itself. And you could be one of them by this Friday. So make that call. Sign up today. And go ahead, hit the like and subscribe buttons here while you're watching the Jenny Beth Show. If you're watching on YouTube, you can click straight there as it is worth your time. Now, September, a very solemn month for so many of us and tributes pouring in. We're coming up on the 25th anniversary of the September 11th attack and on the anniversary of Charlie Kirk's death on September 10th.

[01:01:28] Never, ever, ever give up and do not quit on this constitutional republic now 250 years young because we owe it to our founders. We owe it to the people who died on September 11th. And we owe it to Charlie. We owe it to every veteran and everyone who laid down their life in uniform service for this country. And we owe it to our children and the generations of Americans coming after us.

[01:01:55] Only American citizens should decide American elections full stop. Go make that call to your county board this week and serve as a poll worker or a poll watcher.
